About this tour

Arrive in bustling Bangkok for the first leg of your family adventure. Visit iconic sights including the famous 151ft reclining Buddha on a Wat Pho guided tour, relax with a traditional Thai massage and travel by longtail boat on the busy Chao Phraya River.

Transfer to Kanchanaburi and visit the incredible Erawan Waterfalls, with seven tiers providing a unique experience at every climb. Swim in the turquoise pools or take a hike in the jungle to spot native monkeys. You’ll then take in a piece of World War II history visiting the famous Bridge on the River Kwai and its incredible views.

Arrive in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and explore the ruins of Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, board an overnight train where you’ll lie back and relax on a journey to Chiang Mai. Here, enjoy a tour of the great cafes, shops, and accommodations of the old city. Visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a golden Buddhist temple, where you’ll admire the many Buddhist relics and visit the white elephant shrine.

Enjoy some free time exploring the temples, ancient ruins, and meditation centres of Chaing Mai, before picking fresh ingredients at a local market and learning how to make traditional Thai dishes in a cooking class.

Fly to Phuket, where you’ll lie back and relax for the next three days, basking in the sun or swimming in the gorgeous blue water of this tropical paradise. Board a plane back to Bangkok for one last explore of the city, before saying goodbye to Thailand and heading back home.
