Surrounded by snow-covered peaks, turquoise lakes and breathtaking scenery, Banff provides the perfect introduction to Western Canada’s natural wonders.
Your adventure continues onboard the Rocky Mountaineer for an unforgettable two day train journey like no other, down to Vancouver. Travelling in the comfort of the train’s signature glass-dome carriages, you’ll enjoy uninterrupted views of dramatic mountain landscapes, winding river valleys and lush forests.
After time in Vancouver, the magical experiences continue at Knight Inlet Lodge, a floating lodge tucked into Glendale Cove, in the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest. Accessible only by floatplane, the lodge offers an immersive wilderness escape in one of the world’s premier grizzly bear viewing destinations. Thanks to the unique ecosystem surrounding the lodge, bears can be observed from May through October, with guided boat-based excursions operating in spring and summer, and elevated viewing platform experiences available during the autumn salmon run.
Alongside bear viewing, guests can enjoy scenic cruises and opportunities to spot whales, eagles and other marine wildlife, creating a truly unforgettable Canadian wilderness experience.
