About this tour

This fantastic introduction to India combines the three cities of the ‘Golden Triangle’ with a couple of days in Ranthambore National Park. Journeying in a loop from Delhi, you’ll tick off highlights including the Taj Mahal in Agra, and the forts and pink-hued palaces of Jaipur. With three game drives in Ranthambore, we’ll go in search of the park’s elusive Bengal tigers, as well as looking out for leopards, sloth bears, monkeys and all manner of birdlife. Our escorted tours to India are accompanied by tour managers throughout, so they're ideal for first-time visitors.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: UK - Delhi

Titan’s nationwide shared chauffeur service collects you from your home for your flight to Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi

On arrival in Delhi, spend an afternoon sightseeing all that New Delhi has to offer. Pay your respects at the India Gate memorial and pass the official residence of the President of India. Later, stop by the UNESCO listed memorial to the Mughal emperor Humayun.
Day 3: Delhi - Agra

Spend your morning touring the traditional walled city of Old Delhi. Make your way to the black marble memorial to Mahatma Gandhi and the grand Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques. In the afternoon, take the fast train to the city of Agra.
Day 4: Agra

Prepare to get your photo taken in front of the white marble mausoleum of the Taj Mahal today. After a morning here, move on to Agra’s imposing fort, a walled city of palaces, mosques, halls and residences.
Day 5: Agra - Ranthambore

This morning, depart Agra for Ranthambore, with a stop to Abhaneri Step Well on the way. Continue to Ranthambore National Park, known for its 1,000-year old fort and Bengal tiger reserve. By evening, join a tiger talk with a local naturalist.
Day 6: Ranthambore

Head out on two game drives at Ranthambore National Park, in search of leopards, monkeys, birds and sloth. You may even spot the shy and elusive Bengal tiger!
Day 7: Ranthambore - Jaipur

After a morning of leisure, travel to Jaipur, known as the ‘pink city’ for its rose-red palaces.
Day 8: Jaipur

Enjoy a drive up to the Amber Fort, a beautiful sandstone palace perched on a hilltop. Tour the fort, then head to the foothill lake, keeping your eyes peeled for the native elephants. Return to Jaipur and explore the City Palace and the 18th-century Jantar Mantar observatory, admiring the latticed façade of the Hawa Mahal.
Day 9: Jaipur - Delhi

Spend a morning enjoying Jaipur at your leisure, before setting off for a final night in Delhi.
Day 10: Delhi - UK

Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
