Highlights of Morocco

Tour Itinerary

• Day 1: UK - Casablanca

  Fly from the UK to Casablanca and check into your hotel. Later, you’ll meet your Tour Director and travel companions.

• Day 2: Casablanca - Rabat - Meknes - Fez

  This morning, skirt the Atlantic coast to Rabat, the country’s capital for a sightseeing tour before continuing to Meknes. Witness for yourself it’s monumental gates, mosque, palace, and miles of protective walls during your guided tour. Later, travel east towards Fez, Morocco's most enchanting city.

• Day 3: Fez

  Today, spend the day at leisure in ancient Fez, immersing yourself in its outstanding beauty. Choose to wander through a maze of narrow, bustling streets and alleys that are home to vibrant souks on an optional sightseeing tour to the ancient UNESCO World Heritage site of Medina.

• Day 4: Fez - Ifrane - Erfoud

  Travel to the very heart of Morocco, stopping in the quiet French-built alpine mountain resort of Ifrane. Characterised by lush green valleys and volcanic mountains, immerse yourself in its beauty as you travel across the Middle Atlas range. As you approach Erfoud, encounter the breathtaking and awe-inspiring Ziz Valley.

• Day 5: Erfoud

  Today, head on an included excursion to Rissani. See the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Sharif, the first ruler of the Alaouite Dynasty, and get a feel for daily life in a Berber town.

• Day 6: Erfoud - Ouarzazate

  Leave Erfoud behind, enjoying a drive through the eastern slopes of the Atlas Mountains to arrive at the Tinghir oasis, with its green valley of palms and local villages. Journey onwards and arrive at the film capital of Morocco, Ouarzazate.

• Day 7: Ouarzazate - Aït Benhaddou - Tizi-n-Tichka Pass - Marrakesh

  Travel to Aït Benhaddou, an ancient, fortified city, famous as a film location for “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Gladiator.” Pass through picturesque villages towards 7,414-foot-high Tizi-n-Tichka Pass in the heart of the High Atlas Mountains. Leaving the pass behind, enter the gates of the red-hued imperial city of Marrakesh.

• Day 8: Marrakesh

  Your exploration of Marrakesh continues with a sightseeing tour led by a local guide. Key highlights include visiting the Majorelle Gardens, now owned by French fashion designers Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé.

• Day 9: Marrakesh - Casablanca

  Leave Morocco’s magical city of Marrakesh for the journey back to Casablanca. On arrival, see the main sights and visit the majestic Hassan II Mosque in the company of a local guide.

• Day 10: Casablanca - UK

  Today you’ll fly back to the UK.
