About this tour

Experience a 13 day island-hopping journey through Oahu, Maui and Kauai, blending cultural experiences, dramatic landscapes and relaxed island living. Start your adventure in Waikiki on Oahu, where you’ll explore Honolulu’s historic landmarks from Pearl Harbor to the USS Arizona Memorial. Immerse yourself in the laid-back surf culture of the North Shore as you make your way along Waikiki Beach, taking in the stunning views of Diamond Head.

The adventure continues on Hawaii Island, where volcanic landscapes and coastal scenery take centre stage. Visit the black sands of Punaluʻu Beach Park, spot sea turtles, tour Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and learn about traditional salt harvesting during a Be My Guest experience with Kona Sea Salt. You’ll also get the opportunity to discover the fascinating world of manta rays firsthand along the Kona Coast.

In Maui, witness stunning landscapes while experiencing native Hawaiian heritage, including a visit to Iao Valley State Park. Enjoy a mix of guided sightseeing and free time to explore the island at leisure, with opportunities to go snorkelling, on a scenic drive or experience a cultural performance.

For your final stop of the trip, make your way to the island of Kauai, where you can view spectacular natural beauty with Waimea Canyon, the Tunnel of Trees and the Spouting Horn blowhole. Tour Itinerary

Day 1 • UK - Waikiki

Arrive in Honolulu, and spend your first evening joining your Travel Director for dinner in Waikiki Beach.
Day 2 • Oahu - Waikiki

Start your day with a photo stop at Halona Blowhole, before following the scenic coast of Oahu to the North Shore. Later, return to Waikiki, then choose to join an optional excursion to the Polynesian Cultural Centre to get up close to local villages.
Day 3 • Honolulu

Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore Hawaii at your own pace, before a dinner with your group in the evening.
Day 4 • Waikiki

Visit the Pearl Harbor National Memorial and the USS Arizona Memorial, before continuing through the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, located in Punchbowl Crater. Make your way to downtown Honolulu, then enjoy a walking tour passing through sights including Iolani Palace, the King Kamehameha I Statue, and the State Capitol Building.
Day 5 • Kona

Arrive in the town of Hilo and enjoy lunch before visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Continue along the coast to Punalu’u Beach Park, famous for its black sand and Hawaiian green sea turtles., then make your way to stay at the Outrigger Kona Resort & Spa.
Day 6 • Kona

Discover the native Mobula alfredi manta rays of Kona, the second largest in the world, before enjoying a Be My Guest experience at Kona Sea Salt, where you'll get to watch salt production then taste different salts to explore the flavour profiles. Continue to a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience at a coffee plantation, learning about how some of the world's best coffee is grown and roasted.
Day 7 • Kona

Explore Hawaii at your own pace, setting off on an off-road adventure and trail walk to see hidden waterfalls and a scenic view of Pololu Valley. Or take a snorkelling trip in the Puʻuhonua O Honaunau and Kealakekua Bay. In the evening, experience a traditional Hawaiian Luau.
Day 8 • Maui

Fly from Kona to Maui and visit Iao Valley State Park before settling into your hotel. In the evening, take a walk to the nearby Whalers Village or enjoy a relaxing stroll along the beach.
Day 9 • Maui

Spend another day exploring Maui. In the evening, enjoy a dinner featuring local flavours.
Day 10 • Kauai

Travel to Kauai, where you’ll spend the next three nights, and spend your first day in the oldest of the main Hawaiian Islands relaxing at your hotel.
Day 11 • Kauai

Enjoy a private, guided tour of Grove Farm, one-hundred-acre homestead in the centre of Lihue. Continue all the way up to Waimea Canyon State Park, before a drive through the island's famous Tunnel of Trees with a stop at Spouting Horn blowhole. Finish your day with a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience at Allerton & McBryde Botanical Gardens for a tour highlighting rare native Hawaiian ferns and plants.
Day 12 • Kauai

Enjoy a free day to explore Kauai at your own pace. For your final night, enjoy a final dinner with your fellow travellers.
