Win £1,000 Spending Money Terms & Conditions

Win £1,000 spending money with Hays Travel (the “Promotion”) is promoted by Hays Travel (the “Promoter”), registered Office: Gilbridge House, Keel Square, Sunderland SR1 3HA.
By entering the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.    All entrants must be aged 18 or over and UK residents.
2.    Promoter employees and family of employees are not permitted to enter. If an employee family member is drawn, they will be disqualified, and a new winner will be selected.
3.    To qualify, the entrant must book any short haul package holiday between the dates of 9.00 am Thursday 24 September, and 11.59pm Wednesday 30 September. A minimum spend of £1,500 per booking applies. All bookings will automatically be entered into the draw. 
4.    A short haul package holiday is determined as any short haul holiday booked with the Promoter, via the Promoter`s listed channels online, contact centre, in-branch, or via social media with arrangements for transport and accommodation made at an inclusive price
5.    Prize: 1 x £1,000 spending money loaded to a Hays Travel money card. The free spending money of 1000GBP will be loaded to Hays Travel money card 7 days before the holiday departure date. The holiday balance must be paid in full before the free spending money is issued. Not transferable for cash or currency.  
6.    The Promoter acts as agent for the holiday supplier with whom the winner will have a contract and whose standard terms and conditions apply. Entrant can be entered into the prize draw multiple times by purchasing additional qualifying holidays as part of separate bookings. Each qualifying booking will constitute one entry.
7.    The winner will be drawn at random from eligible entries on Friday 2 October 2026 using a verifiably random computer process, under the Promoters supervision. The winner will be contacted by the Promoter by telephone with the number supplied at booking.  The Promoter will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner. Information about the winner, including their surname and county, will be made available in accordance with clause 19.
8.    The winners will have five (5) calendar days from receipt of the winning notification to:
a.    Acknowledge the Prize via the instructions in the notification;
b.    Provide a valid ID in the form of a passport or driver’s license; and
c.    Confirm they wish to accept the Prize.
9.    If a winner does not respond within 5 calendar days of notification, another winner will be selected at random from the remaining entries.
10.    The Promoter’s announcement of the winners is final.
11.    Prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
12.    If the winner cancels the original qualifying beach holiday they will not be entitled to the £1,000 spending money prize.
13.    The Promoter shall not be responsible for damages, losses, or liabilities of any kind, including without limitation, direct or consequential loss or damages arising out of or in relation to the prize draw. Nothing in this condition shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury as a result of the Promoter’s negligence or for any fraud or fraudulent misrepresentations committed by the Promoter.
14.    The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Promotion or amend these Terms and Conditions with or without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without liability to any entrant for doing so.
15.    The winners of the £1,000 spending money will be asked to collect their prize from the local Promoter branch. 
16.    Winners may be asked to participate in non-paid publicity.
17.    Winner must comply with holiday destination entry regulations including visa requirements. The Promoter is not responsible for costs or organisation associated with these elements. Travel insurance, pick up from home address, airport hotel stay/car parking and expenses are not included.
18.    In the event of a cancellation by the holiday provider affecting the prize, the Promoter will seek to arrange a reasonable short haul package holiday of equivalent value, subject to the supplier terms and conditions.
19.    The winners’ surnames and counties can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Hays Travel, Gilbridge House, Keel Square, Sunderland SR1 3HA, within thirty (30) calendar days after the Promotion Period. If a winner objects to any or all of their surname and county being made available, the winner must notify the Promoter by writing to the address above, however, the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
20.    This offer is subject to the laws of England & Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
21.    If any of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of these terms and conditions shall remain valid and enforceable.
