User Generated Content Terms and Conditions

Hays Travel Limited (HTL) have reached out to you as we would love to use your post to inspire others and to promote and advertise HTL services by re-posting, uploading or making the post available on our own platform.  You are reading this because HTL are requesting your permission to use your social media content in this way.
By replying with the hashtag #YesHaysTravel, this confirms you give HTL permission to use your social media posts and confirm you have read, understood and agree to the conditions below.
  • You are 18 years old or over and a resident in the UK.
  • The permission you give HTL will be an on-going basis, to use your post, without charge, HTL does not claim ownership of your post.
  • You grant to HTL, its agents, employees, legal representatives, and assigns, and those acting under its permission and upon its authority, or those for whole HTL is acting, a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable and sub-licensable right to host and display your posts in electronic formats.
  • You agree that we may publicly display, distribute, modify, adapt, publish and create derivative works from the post on our website, social media, blog, banner and marketing emails.
  • You confirm that you took the photo/video or own the right to the post.
  • You confirm you did not copy anyone else’s post or use anyone else’s content in your post.
  • If there’s a person in the post, you have their permission and agreement to feature them in your post.  If they are a child under the age of 18, you must have their parent or guardian’s permission.
  • You understand and agree that we might not always be able to credit you as the creator of your post, but if we do, you agree for us to use your social media name or handle. (Privacy policy many need to change?)
You are in control of the content you provide and can terminate this agreement any time by emailing socialmedia@hays-travel.co.uk
Please note that we don’t have an obligation to store or use your Content. We’ll delete it or confirm we no longer hold it within a reasonable period, no longer than a calendar month from termination of the agreement.
HTL reserves the right to alter these Terms without notice, you should review the Terms each time you grant permission or authorisation to feature your post.
These terms are subject to the laws of England and Wales. In the unlikely event that we enter into a formal dispute relating to these terms, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle this.
We process your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy https://www.haystravel.co.uk/privacy-policy/ on the basis of our legitimate interest in promoting our brand and communicating with interested individuals (May need to amend the privacy policy?).
