Pre-register for Summer 2028 for a chance to win £1,000 Hays Travel Gift Card

Terms and Conditions

Win £1,000 Hays Travel Gift Card (the “Promotion”) with Hays Travel (the “Promoter”). Registered Office: Gilbridge House, Keel Square, Sunderland SR1 3HA.

By entering the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (T&Cs).

1. All entrants must be aged 18 or over and residents of the UK.

2. Promoter employees and family of employees are not permitted to enter. If an employee family member is drawn, they will be disqualified, and a new winner will be selected.

3. To qualify, the entrant must complete the Summer 2028 pre-register form, between the dates of 9.00 am Wednesday 2 September, and 10.00 pm Wednesday 14 October 2026. All completed pre-registrations will automatically be entered into the draw.

4. Prize: 1 x £1,000 Hays Travel Gift Card. The Hays Travel Gift Card is valid for 12 months from the date of issue for any travel arrangements (package holidays, accommodation, or flights). Gift cards are not transferable for cash or currency. In the event of the holiday costing less than the value of the vouchers, the balance will not be redeemable in cash. All holidays are governed by the terms and conditions of the relevant tour operator.

5. The winner will be drawn at random from eligible entries on Friday 16 October 2026. The winner will be contacted by the Promoter by telephone and winner details will be visible on the Promoter`s social media accounts. A request can be made in the local branch for winner details for participants without access to the internet.

6. The winner will have five (5) calendar days from receipt of the winning notification to:

a. Acknowledge the Prize via the instructions in the notification;

b. Provide a valid ID in the form of a passport or driver’s license; and

c. Confirm they wish to accept the Prize.

7. If the winner does not respond within 5 calendar days of notification, another winner will be selected at random from the remaining entries.

8. The Promoter’s announcement of the winner is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. Prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.

10. The Promoter shall not be responsible for damages, losses, or liabilities of any kind, including without limitation, direct or consequential loss or damages arising out of or in relation to the prize draw. Nothing in this condition shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury as a result of the Promoter’s negligence or for any fraud or fraudulent misrepresentations committed by the Promoter.

11. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Promotion or amend these T&Cs with or without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without liability to any entrant for doing so.

12. Winner may be asked to participate in non-paid publicity.

13. Winner must comply with holiday destination entry regulations including visa requirements. The Promoter is not responsible for costs or organisation associated with these elements. Travel insurance and expenses are not included.

 

14. In the event of a holiday provider cancellation, the Promoter will seek to arrange an alternative holiday once any costs relating to these cancellations have been paid according to the holiday provider T&Cs

15. The winner surname and county can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Hays Travel, Gilbridge House, Keel Square, Sunderland SR1 3HA, within thirty (30) calendar days after the Promotion Period. If a winner objects to any or all of their surname and county being made available, the winner must notify the Promoter by writing to the address above, however, the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

17. This offer is subject to the laws of England & Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

18. If any of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of these terms and conditions shall remain valid and enforceable.
