My name is Julie Ann, I started my career in the travel industry here at Hays Travel 39 years ago and celebrate my 40th year with the company in January 2023  and became Branch Manager in Sedgefield over 32 years ago. My team and I are passionate about customer service and helping our clients find the perfect holiday for them. I myself enjoy travelling especially to long haul destinations, experiencing other cultures, and anything at all to do with wildlife, protection and conservation.

Leah came to Sedgefield 6 months ago having worked for several years at our Spennymoor branch, she has just become a mummy to Noah, and they have just returned from their first family holiday to Tenerife. Her favourite holiday destination is Orlando, and she is Disney crazy, something tells be Noah will be too and take after his mummy.

The Hays Travel Foundation recently matched funds raised by our branch in aid of the Ellen Timney Foundation.

A total of £3,990 was donated to the charity following a raffle our team hosted at the foundation’s annual fundraising event. On the night we raised £1,995 and we have recently been informed that the Hays Travel Foundation has matched this, which has made us very happy.

We’re delighted to be able to donate such high amount this year following the success of our raffle and receiving match-funding. We have worked alongside Ellen Timney Foundation from the very start helping to raise money for disabled and underprivileged children in the North East of England. We hope this donation will go some way in helping them continue with their great work.
