Spain will always have a very special place in my heart. ❤️ I've visited so many times over the years, for work, holidays and to see friends, and yet I never get tired of going back. For me, it's the whole way of life – the culture, the people, long lunches, warm evenings, sitting outside with a glass of wine and, of course, the food! I'm a huge foodie, so give me a table full of tapas, good company and nowhere I need to be in a hurry, and I'm in my happy place. 🍷

I've been lucky enough to explore so many different sides of Spain, from Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao and Málaga to beautiful Santiago de Compostela, as well as the Balearic Islands. More recently, I've really discovered Ibiza – and absolutely fallen in love with it. There's so much more to the island than its famous nightlife. Sitting in Ibiza Old Town with a cold glass of wine, soaking up the atmosphere and watching the world go by, is pretty much my idea of heaven.

I also love the Canary Islands and how completely different they can feel from mainland Spain. I love the contrast of the volcanic landscapes, rugged mountains, black-sand beaches and beautiful coastline, and the fact that every island has its own character. Add in year-round sunshine, that laid-back Spanish lifestyle and, of course, the food – and I'm happy! And no trip to the Canaries is complete without papas arrugadas with mojo sauce – an absolute must-try! 😋

And then there's Benidorm! 😂 I worked there, have so many friends there and it genuinely feels like a second home. I still love a good night out and a giggle in Benidorm – there's nowhere quite like it!

One of the things I love most about Spain is that no two trips have to be the same. One minute you can be wandering through a historic old town, the next you're eating tapas in a tiny local bar, relaxing on a beautiful beach or dancing until far later than you planned!

For me, Spain isn't just somewhere I holiday – it's somewhere I always feel at home. ❤️

Mexico will always hold some amazing memories for me. ❤️ I was lucky enough to call Playa del Carmen home for 14 months, which gave me the chance to experience Mexico as more than just a holiday destination – and what an incredible place to live!

One of the things I loved most was having so much to see and do right on my doorstep. From exploring the incredible Mayan ruins of Chichén Itzá, Tulum and Cobá, to swimming in cenotes, snorkelling in crystal-clear Caribbean waters and discovering beautiful beaches – there was always another adventure waiting.

One of my absolute highlights has to be swimming with whale sharks. 🐋 It's one of those experiences I'll never forget and definitely one of my biggest travel bucket-list moments ticked off!

Of course, life in Playa del Carmen wasn't all about adventure... there was plenty of time for a little retail therapy along Fifth Avenue (Quinta Avenida), enjoying the restaurants and bars and, naturally, the occasional night at Coco Bongo! 💃😂

I also loved getting out and exploring the islands. Isla Mujeres was a favourite – spending the day snorkelling, then hiring a golf buggy and driving around the island has to be one of the best ways to spend a day in Mexico. 🌴

And that's what I love about this part of Mexico – there's just so much more to it than beautiful beaches and all-inclusive hotels. You've got ancient history, incredible wildlife, cenotes, islands, amazing food, nightlife and adventure all within easy reach.

After 14 months of living there, Mexico gave me some of my favourite travel memories – and it's a destination I could talk about all day long!🌴

Tenby and Saundersfoot will always be incredibly special to me. ❤️ Tenby has been part of my life for as long as I can remember – it was our childhood holiday destination, and so many of my favourite family memories with my parents and sisters were made there.

It became even more special when my dad had a memorial bench commissioned in memory of my Nan, overlooking Tenby's beautiful North Beach. It's one of my favourite places to sit, remember her and simply watch the world go by – preferably with a portion of fish and chips in hand! 🐟🍟 There's something very comforting about knowing that bench will always be there in a place that means so much to our family.

Now my sisters and I have children of our own, I love that the next generation is making their own Tenby memories too. The beaches, colourful harbour, little streets and that unmistakable summer holiday atmosphere – some things just never get old.

More recently, Saundersfoot has become one of our favourite places for our own little family of three. We tend to visit out of season, saving Tenby for those lovely summer trips, and I think that's when I've really fallen in love with Saundersfoot.

There's something about it out of season that feels so local and community-focused. It's quieter, you start to recognise familiar places and faces, and you get that lovely feeling that, just for a few days, you actually belong there.

Give me a cosy cottage overlooking the sea, a walk along the beach, good food and a log-burning fire waiting for us when we get back, and I'm very happy! 🌊🔥

For me, Tenby is filled with childhood memories and family traditions, while Saundersfoot is somewhere we're now creating new traditions of our own. And I love that these two little Welsh seaside towns continue to be part of our family's story, generation after generation. ❤️
