Hello and welcome! If you're here, chances are you're thinking about your next holiday, so I thought I'd tell you a little about myself.

I'm Sue, a proud North East girl, a single mum to three amazing children two grown-up sons and a teenage daughter, plus our much-loved family dog, Murphy, who definitely lives the life of a king! 🐾👑

I have over 30 years of experience in sales, customer service, management and corporate roles, and throughout my career I've always been passionate about helping people. Believe it or not, I wanted to become a travel agent when I left school, but life took me in a different direction. However, my love for travel never disappeared. I've always enjoyed planning holidays and have spent years organising trips for family and friends, simply because it's something I genuinely love doing.

After studying travel and building my knowledge my career began with another travel company but I'm incredibly proud to be a Personal Travel Consultant with Hays Travel and Ive never looked back.

As someone born and raised in Sunderland, it's fantastic to be part of such a successful company that started right here in my hometown. Hays Travel has grown to become the UK's largest independent travel agent, giving me access to an extensive range of trusted suppliers, all fully ABTA and ATOL protected.

Some of my favourite destinations with my children include Ibiza, Turkey, Greece and Disneyland Paris. I've also enjoyed some fantastic girls' trips to Ibiza and Puerto Banus. Travel is one of my biggest passions, and there are still plenty of destinations left on my bucket list. After all, can you ever travel too much?

Closer to home, I love exploring the UK. Whether it's a city break, a lodge stay in the Lake District or our annual family trip to Centre Parcs, I'm always planning the next adventure. My children have always loved animals, so we've visited zoos all over the UK, with Chester Zoo being our absolute favourite, usually followed by a shopping trip to Cheshire Oaks!

Christmas is another favourite time of year for travelling. We love visiting festive markets across the UK, with York, Harrogate and Edinburgh being particular favourites. London is another city we've enjoyed countless times as a family, taking in theatre shows, sightseeing and fantastic restaurants.

One of the biggest advantages of booking with me is the personal service you'll receive. As I work primarily from home, I can be available when it suits you, including evenings and weekends. I genuinely believe no request is too much trouble. From finding your perfect holiday and arranging extras to checking you in and helping with boarding passes, I'm here every step of the way.

If technology isn't your thing, don't worry. I've even been known to pop out and collect passport details in person! If you're local and would prefer a face-to-face appointment, I'm more than happy to arrange that too.
