Goa
I have been to Goa five times. Goa is a wonderful introduction to the delights of India. It has fantastic beaches with bustling party scenes in North Goa to more tranquil and scenic spots in the South. Goa offers excellent value for money featuring budget friendly beach shacks, street food and reasonably priced accommodation. Goa has incredibly friendly people, excellent hospitality and fascinating culturally too.

Lapland
I was fortunate to experience the magical winter wonderland of Lapland. I went with my family for the run up to Christmas, and what a wonderful adventure to experience.
Snow covered Finland offers many popular activities including learning about the Sami culture and their deep connection to reindeer herding, snowmobiling and of course visiting the main man himself "Santa Claus". -
New York
As city's go, New York is top of my list. If you are strapped for time, like I was, the New York "hop on, hop off" tour bus is a great way to make sure you visit as many sites as possible.
Not to be missed are the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State building (especially the 102nd floor), the 911 Memorial, Brooklyn Bridge and a must for me was taking carriage through Central Park. At night, there are plenty of bars, restaurants and Broadway shows to choose from and don't forget to schedule time to shop till you drop starting with 5th Avenue, Macy's and Bloomingdales.
