New York City is a place for me that holds so many happy memories, my first being the start of my honeymoon back in July 2009, this is when my love of New York City began. I have been lucky to go back several times, and I will hopefully be going back many more times in the future. Christmas time in NYC, is just magical, like being on the set of a Christmas movie, the decorations, the markets, the shows, we saw the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, it did not disappoint, all amazing! We took our son in July 2022 when he was only 6 years old, we were there for the 4th of July which was just spectacular, the fireworks display was out of this world, it was flawless and went on for so long! It really is the city that never sleeps, there is always something different and exciting going on & there really is no age limit, there is something for everyone. My son fell in love with it at 6 years old & I cannot wait to take him back again.

Mexico is a place that I just keep going back to… I say lets try somewhere new & then before I know it I have booked Mexico again. The sunshine, beautiful beaches, gorgeous hotels & unique excursions, it has it all. I think this is why I love it so much. The first time I went, It was just me and my husband so we did a night out at coco-bongos and snorkelled with the sea-turtles, an experience I will never forget. Since being a mum we have been twice, Mexico was the first family holiday we had so for me that holds a special place in my heart, we didn’t do any excursions as our hotel had enough going on to keep us all busy and entertained, the kids clubs are amazing in Mexico. We were also very lucky that at one of the hotels we stayed in we were able to help release baby sea turtles back to the ocean, this is a memory we all cherish and look back on.

This was a place that was on my list of places i wanted to go to but was not top of my list, i could take it or leave it.... till i went & now id recommend anyone and everyone to go and experience it & id love to go back again! We went for 3 nights In January for my birthday. We had a morning at the Blue Lagoon which was even more beautiful in person, just one of those experiences that for me was a pinch me moment. We also done the Golden Circle Tour, this was my husbands choice & I am so glad he picked it, you really see Iceland in a different way getting out and exploring, the pictures just don't do it justice, the Gullfoss waterfall was stunning!
