Welcome to my page. I live near Harrogate in the Yorkshire Dales, and I joined Hays as a Personal Travel Consultant in 2012.
Prior to that I spent over 20 years working for some of the UK's leading adventure tour operators, and I am the author of two motorcycle touring books. My career in travel has taken me around the world, contributing to a vast knowledge of holiday destinations and giving me the experience to ensure I book the perfect holiday for you.
I can organise anything from a European city break or beach holiday to worldwide escorted or self guided tailor made adventures. Looking to book a cruise? I specialise in expedition cruises to the Arctic, Antarctica and Galapagos. Staying closer to home river cruises are a brilliant way to visit Europe’s historic cities. There is no limit to what I can help you with!

Italy
Who doesn’t love Italy? The incredible history, stunning landscapes and delicious cuisine tempt me back year after year. I love Naples, the beautiful Amalfi coast and the vast ruins at Pompeii.
Walking in The Dolomites and watching the setting sun turn the mountains pink is a highlight of any visit to northern Italy. Combine this with a stay on Lake Garda with visits to Venice and Verona for a wonderfully varied holiday.
Florence is stunning, Pisa is fun and beautiful Bologna is famous for its food and nearby motor museums.
Sicily was a recent holiday for me. It was amazing and the food was SO good! I will definitely return. This year I’m revisiting Rome, a city that has to be on everyone’s bucket list.

For first timers to this vast continent tiny Costa Rica is a good choice, a peaceful paradise bordered by the warm waters of the Pacific and the Caribbean. It provides a home to some of the world’s most colourful wildlife. Hummingbirds, toucans and parrots share the forests with iridescent amphibians and howler monkeys. Relax on tropical beaches where the rainforest spills onto the sand, step into an enchanted world on canopy walks that swing through the cloud forest, and watch in awe as active volcanoes illuminate the night sky.

USA
I absolutely love the USA as it offers something for everyone. There are regular flights from most UK airports, travel in the USA is easy, the landscape is awesome and you will be guaranteed a warm welcome.
Florida, Disneyland and a cruise to the Caribbean? A self-drive discovering the vast National Parks or the iconic Route 66? Experience a musical adventure along the Blues Highway, or explore San Francisco and the vineyards of Northern California. On the east coast visit New York and Washington, and head onto Boston and New England for the Fall. The choice is endless.
I have visited Yosemite, Death Valley, The Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Memphis, Nashville, San Francisco and New England to name just a few iconic places. Yellowstone is next on my list.
