Cruising — without a doubt! 🚢✨
What’s not to love? Incredible food, top-class entertainment, and the chance to visit several amazing destinations all in one holiday. It’s like unpacking once but seeing the world.
Over the past year, my absolute highlights have been a beautiful AmaWaterways river cruise along the Danube (such a special, relaxed way to see Europe) and a luxury sailing on Silversea’s Silver Ray, visiting Lucca, Monte Carlo, and more — pure luxury from start to finish.

Cyprus
Cyprus holds a special place in my heart — and I can’t quite put my finger on why it keeps calling me back! Maybe it’s the warm, friendly locals, the beautiful weather, the delicious food, or the rich history that’s woven throughout the island.
I’ve explored most of Cyprus and honestly can’t pick a favourite resort — every corner is amazing in its own way. Now that my boys are grown and a bit too “cool” to holiday with mum and dad, I’m finally enjoying the peace of adult-only hotels. It’s such a refreshing change — no racing for sunbeds, just pure relaxation and chilled vibes.

Turkey
Turkey is all about the kids and quality family time — that’s why it was our family favourite for years, with around 15 visits!
The standard of hotels and the facilities they offer for families is superb. Many have on-site waterparks — no trekking across a huge resort with little ones in tow. Plus, with all-inclusive, you don’t have to worry about digging around for cash to feed the kids; they can pretty much eat all day if they want!
And the best part? I don’t even need to go down the slides myself — I get to relax on my sunlounger and cheer them on as they have the time of their lives.
