Welcome to Hays Travel at Jackson Street in Gateshead! We are a team of nine staff members and we look forward to welcoming in you to our shop. I joined the team from the Sunderland branch and have brought with me a wealth of knowledge and experience stretching over 20 years and specialised in holidays to Turkey and regularly visits there with my family.

Natalie has worked in travel for over 11 years and has a great knowledge of faraway destinations. Natalie came to Hays from a well known airline where she specialised in the Indian Ocean and Middle East, she looks forward to helping you with your faraway destinations.

Next, we have Tracey who has been with us since January and has worked within the travel industry for over 14 years. Karen is our Foreign Exchange Consultant and is your go-to person for the best rates and expert advice on holiday money. We also have Megan who began with Hays over 3 years ago as an apprentice and has advanced onto travel consultant achieving her NVQ qualification along the way. Ava, Abbie and Morgan who are our Apprentices. All 3 of our young ladies are working towards their NVQs and specialise in holidays to young and lively destinations. Danielle has just celebrated 22 years with us and has a wealth of knowledge to worldwide destinations. Finally, we have Janelle who has been with us for ten years and specialises in Far East destinations.

We book all types of holidays from UK breaks to long haul, multi-centre, and cruise holidays. We pride ourselves on giving excellent customer service and as a team we have a great wealth of knowledge to share with you. Why not call down for all of your holiday and currency needs?

We support our local charity Emmanuel House. This is a charity which supports local people in the community dealing with devastating news of cancer whether it be a personal loss or a family member going through treatment. We organised a charity day excursion to York to support the charity and hopefully help to make a difference to the lives of the people they work with We sold tickets, held a raffle on the coach and raised a total of £100.
