In the afternoon, you’ll have time to wander along the enchanting pathways of San Antonio's iconic Riverwalk. Alternatively, you can visit picturesque Fredericksburg, a charming oasis nestled amidst the rolling hills of rural Texas. The renowned National Museum of the Pacific War is here too, an experience that will transport you into the heart of wartime heroics.

We depart in the morning and drive through the heart of Texas, making our way to Fort Worth for a two-night stay. Along the way we'll witness vast and rolling Texan plains, where cattle graze under an expansive sky. Once in Fort Worth, you'll have the entire afternoon to explore at your leisure.
Day 5: Fort Worth
Today, we'll stroll through the renowned Stockyards, where you can witness magnificent longhorn cattle during one of the iconic 'cattle drives’. Later, we'll make a stop at Dealey Plaza in downtown Dallas, the site of President Kennedy's tragic assassination in 1963.
Day 6: Fort Worth - Amarillo
We'll take a scenic road trip across the Texas Panhandle to reach Amarillo. Departing Fort Worth, we'll gradually leave behind the urban landscape and enter the wide-open spaces of the panhandle. We end the day in the bright city lights of Amarillo and check into our hotel.
Day 7: Amarillo - Santa Fe
Following a short photo stop at the unique and colourful sculpture of Cadillac Ranch, we’ll continue to Santa Fe, the capital of New Mexico and the oldest city in the USA. Santa Fe's unique blend of Pueblo, Spanish and Western influences is evident in every building, every piece of art, and every savoury aroma wafting from its restaurants.
Day 8: Santa Fe
Today, we get a glimpse into one of the oldest cultures in the US at the Taos Pueblo, guided by a specialist from the Native American community. Our journey then takes us to Los Alamos, where we’ll explore the place Robert Oppenheimer called home while overseeing the infamous Manhattan Project.
Day 9: Santa Fe - Alamogordo
Our journey takes us southward leading us through the rugged terrain of southern New Mexico, including the Gila National Forest and the Organ Mountains. The highlight of this journey is the incredible White Sands National Park. After dinner, we'll stay overnight in Alamogordo.
Day 10: Alamogordo - Tucson
This morning we hit the open road, heading down the highway toward Tucson, but not before making a pit stop at Old Tombstone, the legendary site of the notorious 30-second 'Gunfight at the OK Corral'. After Tombstone, we'll be unwinding for the night in Tucson.
