Days 1-2: UK - San Francisco
Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel and spend the rest of your first day exploring the wonderful city of San Francisco. See the sights of the famous bridges, sea lions at Pier 39, and explore Fisherman’s Wharf. Take a ferry over to Alcatraz Island and partake in the self guided audio tour to learn more about the history of the infamous prison.
Days 3-6: San Francisco - Oahu
Fly to the Island of Oahu. On arrival, spend some time at Waikiki beach and enjoy the spectacular sights of the surfers whilst relaxing. Take a tour to Pearl Harbor National Memorial and visit Iolani Palace, which was the home of Hawaii’s last reigning monarchs and served as the official royal residence until the overthrow of the monarchy in 1893.
Days 7-10: Oahu - The Big Island of Hawaii
Today’s short internal flight will take you over to the Big Island of Hawaii, with its 2 active volcanoes, Kilauea and Mauna Loa, being amongst the star attractions. Enjoy a tour of a private lava tube and see the eruption deep inside Halemaumau Crater, catching glimpses of lava. Take the Mauna Kea Summit & Stars Tour for spectacular views of the island and also do some star gazing, using a powerful telescope for up-close viewing of the nights sky in one of the worlds’ best vantage points.
Days 11-14: The Big Island of Hawaii - Maui
Today is another short internal flight to the “Valley Isle” of Maui. Considered one of the best beaches in America, Ka’anapali is three miles of perfect white sand. Don’t miss the daily cliff diving ceremony off Pu’u Keka’a. Take a sunset dinner sail aboard a deluxe catamaran, or simply enjoy the relaxation on the fine, golden, sandy beach.
Days 15-16: Maui - Los Angeles
Head back to the mainland of Los Angeles and spend 2 nights in West Hollywood. Walk the Sunset Strip and the Hollywood Walk of Fame and enjoy some last minute retail therapy at the Beverly Centre and Rodeo Drive.
Day 17: Los Angeles - UK
Your holiday has come to an end, and it is time to return to Los Angeles airport for your flight home to the UK.
