• Day 1: UK to Miami, Florida

  Arrive and make your way to your Miami hotel for a 3-night stay.

• Day 2-3: Miami, Florida

  Be spoilt for choice on how to spend your time here. This vibrant city stretches from the serene Everglades to the stylish haunts of the rich and famous on Miami Beach. Indulge in retail therapy at Lincoln Road Mall or enjoy a touch of culture at Wolfsonian-FIU museum. Escape to the idyllic Miami Beach Botanical Garden or chill out on the white sand of South Beach. Explore the art galleries and elegant eateries at Miami's Design District or visit the historic and bohemian Espanola Way. If you're travelling with children, spend time at Jungle Island zoo and Miami Children's Museum.

• Day 6: Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

  Puerto Plata is a city on the Dominican Republic's Atlantic north coast and is best known for its sandy shores. The city's old colonial-era centre is dominated by the 16th-century Fortaleza San Felipe, a Spanish fortress that now houses historical and military artefacts. A great spot to swim with dolphins and sharks is Ocean World Adventure Park or Playa Dorada is a great family day out to soak up some sunshine and enjoy the seaside. Witness scenic views across Puerto Plata with a ride on the cable car or pay a visit to Damajaqua Cascades with its beautiful waterfall and canyoning adventures. Museo Del Ambar is a fascinating Victorian building featuring preserved amber and a gift shop brimming with unique amber jewellery.

• Day 7: St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands

  St Thomas is arguably the prettiest of the Virgin Islands and boasts plenty of picture-perfect beaches. The capital, Charlotte Amalie, was founded in the 1600s by the Danish and is home to the 99 Steps up to Blackbeard's Castle, St Thomas Synagogue, Emancipation Garden, Government House, Frederick Lutheran Church, and Fort Christian. Visit Magens Bay to go swimming, snorkelling, and kayaking or to follow the Tropical Discovery Hike via forested hilltops and mangrove wetlands. Get up close to turtles, dolphins, sharks, and sea lions; experience the underwater observatory and Marine Gardens Aquarium; and try SNUBA and parasailing at Coral World Ocean Park. Learn about pirate life at Pirate Treasure Museum in Havensight and explore the colourful flora and fauna at Phantasea Tropical Botanical Garden in Lerkenlund. Venture up Mountain Top to witness the panoramic views of the surrounding islands and sip one of the famous Banana Daiquiris.

• Day 8: Tortola, British Virgin Islands

  Tortola is the largest of the British Virgin Islands. Powder-white sands, azure seas, and verdant green mountains set the scene; equally matched by tasty culinary experiences, luxurious holiday resorts, and a wealth of famous attractions. Explore the eclectic mix of shops in Road Town or escape to the tranquillity of J R O'Neal Botanic Gardens. Get up close to nature at Sage Mountain National Park or visit the giant boulders and rock formations at The Baths on Virgin Gorda. Go surfing at Cane Garden Bay or snorkel amongst tropical fish and coral at Smuggler's Cove. Swim with dolphins at Dolphin Discovery or sample locally-made rum at Callwood's Rum Distillery.
