  The vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Melbourne sits in the state of Victoria on Australia's south eastern shores. Melbourne is a shopper’s paradise - from over 300 shops at Melbourne Central and niche boutiques in The Block Arcade and Royal Arcade, to bargain-hunting at the open-air Queen Victoria Market. Visit the Old Melbourne Gaol or stop by Ian Potter Centre and Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Federation Square. Take a walk over the Otway Fly Treetop Walk or admire the 360-degree views from Eureka Skydeck 88.   Kangaroo Island lies off the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia and is a haven for wildlife and nature. Visit the sandy beach of Seal Bay and observe the colony of seals nursing their young. Surf the spectacular white sand dunes of Little Sahara or enjoy the idyllic coastal landscapes and rustic woodlands at Kelly Hill Conservation Park. Discover the magical underground of Kelly Hill Caves and crawl through an array of underground mazes. Head to the Flinders Chase National Park to explore Admirals Arch, the Remarkable Rocks, and the Cape du Couedic and Cape Bourda Lighthouses.

  Step ashore in Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. North Terrace is the cultural hub of the city and home to Government House, Migration Museum, South Australia Museum, Art Gallery of South Australia, and Adelaide Botanic Garden. Spend some time in Elder Park and take a boat trip on River Torrens or the Adelaide Oval Tour is perfect for cricket fans. Indulge in retail therapy at over 700 retail stores at Rundle Mall and pick up a bargain at the bustling outdoor Adelaide Central Market. See the giant pandas at Adelaide Zoo or hold a koala at Cleland Wildlife Park. Hop on the tram to Glenelg for family-fun at The Beachhouse amusement park or delve into all things wine-related at The National Wine Centre of Australia.

  Hobart is the capital of Australia's island state of Tasmania and is situated on the River Derwent. Climb up Mount Wellington and savour panoramic views of the city and beyond. The main waterfront of Constitution Dock has a wealth of fishing punts which sell seafood; sit outdoors on the harbour and indulge in fish and chips and a spot of people-watching. Pay a visit to the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) and Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. Enjoy the flora and fauna at Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. Explore the old harbour quarter of Battery Point to admire Lenna House and St George's Anglican Church. Stroll through waterfront Princes Park and step back in time at Narryna Heritage Museum.

• Day 13: Port Arthur, Australia

  A village and historic site in southern Tasmania; Port Arthur is an open-air museum that hosts live theatre performances, exhibitions, concerts, and archaeological displays. This place of vivid history, cultural heritage, and global significance is one of the 11 places that make up the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Australian Convict Sites. Take an Isle of the Dead Cemetery Tour; the final resting place for more than 1000 convicts, military and civil officers, women and children, who were buried between 1833 and 1877. As darkness falls, follow a guide for a Port Arthur Ghost Tour through infamous buildings and ruins, and listen to vivid stories. Places like the Penitentiary, Separate Prison, and the unconsecrated Convict Church are the site's prime landmarks.

  Today you will arrive in Perth and make your own way to your 5* Hotel in Perth for your 1-night stay

• Day 19: Perth, Western Australia

  Today you will check out your hotel and be transferred to the Airport for your flight back to the UK.
