Cruise Itinerary

• Day 1-2: Amsterdam, Netherlands

  Fly from selected UK airport to Amsterdam and embark on your 6-night cruise on board TUI Aria. There's so much to experience when you step ashore in the Netherland's capital city of Amsterdam. Explore the Museum District — home to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum — and step back in time at Anne Frankhuis. Discover the opulent Canal Ring district — an UNESCO World Heritage site, or simply escape to the tranquil surroundings of Vondelpark. You can get close to marine and animal life at Natura Artis Magistra; buy colourful tulips at Bloemenmarkt; or enjoy an interactive beer tour with the Heineken Experience.

• Day 3: Rotterdam, Netherlands

  The Dutch maritime city of Rotterdam is your next port of call. See the city's oldest harbour, Oude Haven, before taking a look at the 'glass palace' of Van Nelle Fabriek — an UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the ever-changing exhibitions at the Kunsthal and the expansive collection of Dutch and European art at Museum Boijmans van Beuningen. Ride to the top of Euromast observation tower for 360-degree city-wide views, stop by Miniworld Rotterdam to view the city in miniature, or pop into the Kubuswoningen cube house and museum.

• Day 4: Veere, Netherlands

  Veere is a charming historical village built on the shore of the Western Schedlt in the Netherlands. This once fishing village boasts a plethora of local attractions to explore; see the eye-catching Gothic Stadhuis with its 48-bell carillon on the Markt and the 15th-century Scottish Houses facing the marina - both of which make up Museum Veere. The impressive Grote Kerk Veere is another must-see, before strolling along the waterfront to admire the Campveerse Toren on Veerse Meer Lake. The nearby nine-kilometre-long Oosterscheldekering - Eastern Schedlt Storm Surge Barrier - with its 13 Delta Works dams and storm surge barriers is a sight to behold. Travel to see the 15th-century Fort Rammekens, the oldest sea fort in Western Europe, which once played an important role in Zeeland's maritime history.

• Day 5: Ghent, Belgium

  The port city of Ghent rests at the confluence of the Scheldt and Leie rivers in northwest Belgium. Meander through the city centre and admire the medieval buildings such as the Gravensteen Castle, Saint Nicolas' Church, and the unique Graslei guildhalls by the waterside. Join the queues to view the famous The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb - also known as the Ghent Altarpiece - in St Bavo's Cathedral, or escape to the pretty tropical plant-filled glasshouses at the Botanical Gardens. Ghent is also the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bruges; famed for its chocolates, lace, pretty canals, and historic city centre.

• Day 6: Antwerp, Belgium

  The Belgian port city of Antwerp dates back to the Middle Ages and nestles on the River Scheldt. At the centre of the city, you'll discover the ancient Diamond District; which is home to thousands of diamond traders, cutters, and polishers. Admire the Flemish Renaissance architecture as you stroll around the Grote Markt in the Old Town. Pay a visit to the 17th-century Rubenshuis to view artworks by the Flemish Baroque painter, Peter Paul Rubens. The UNESCO World Heritage-listed Museum Plantin-Moretus, the impressive MAS complex, and the Gothic-style Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal are well worth visiting too. Get up close to sharks and piranhas at Aquatopia aquarium or visit the animals at Antwerp Zoo.

• Day 7: Amsterdam, Netherlands

  It’s time to say goodbye to your crew and start the journey home.
