• Day 1: UK to Athens (Piraeus), Greece

  Fly from selected UK airports to Athens, Greece. Once you arrive embark on Celebrity Infinity.

• Day 2: Thessaloniki, Greece

  Today's port of call is Thessaloniki on the Thermaic Gulf of the Aegean Sea. This Greek port city showcases a rich Roman, Ottoman and Byzantine history, especially in the upper town Ano Poli district, Archaeology Museum, and White Tower Museum. Much of the city centre was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1917 and the 1920s re-build resulted in a contemporary city complete with a vibrant culture and the annual Thessaloniki Film Festival. The southeast of the city is home to fine beaches on the Halkidiki Peninsula or you can simply sit and people-watch on the Platia Elefterias and Platia Aristoltelous main squares. Culture fans can discover the City Walls, White Tower, Palace of Galerius, Rotunda, Galerian Arch, Roman Market and Theatre, Roman Baths and the Nymphaion close at hand. The UNESCO-listed Ancient Site of Vergina and also the Ancient City and Archaeological Museum of Pella are also accessible within a few hours’ drive.

• Day 4-5: Istanbul, Turkey

  Straddling Europe and Asia across the Bosphorus Strait, Istanbul is a major Turkish city. Discover that its Old City reflects cultural influences from the many empires that used to rule. Visit one of the most beautiful buildings in the world, Hagia Sophia, and shop 'til you drop in the 5,000 shops covering 60 streets at the Grand Bazaar. The unforgettable views from Galata Tower cannot go a miss, as well as its 9-stories high restaurant and nightclub. Wander the Blue Mosque in the old city and spend time in the beating heart of Istanbul - Istiklal Avenue. The Archaeology Museum is well worth a visit to spot the magnificent sarcophagus of Alexander, blue tiled Karaman Mihrab, and the Treaty of Kadesh - the world's earliest surviving peace treaty.

• Day 7: Ephesus (Kusadasi), Turkey

  The beach resort of Kuşadasi nestles on Turkey's western Aegean coastline. Stroll along the seafront promenade and around the marina and harbour; perhaps stop for lunch at a waterside eatery or sip a glass of ice-cold beer as you take in the view. Pay a visit the impressive 16th-century Kaleici Mosque or spend a few hours relaxing on the popular Ladies Beach. Take a walk along the causeway across to the off-shore Pigeon Island (Guvercin Adasi) to explore its walled Byzantine castle. Fun times for all the family are on the menu on the lazy river, zip lines, waterslides, and water-coasters at Adaland Aquapark on the outskirts of the town. Kusadasi is also gateway to the classical ruins at nearby Ephesus; highlights include: Cukurici Mound, Ayasuluk Hill and its Selçuk Fortress, Saint John Basilica, Isa Bey Mosque, Isa Bey Bath, Temple of Artemis (one of the Seven Wonders of the World), House of the Virgin Mary, and Ephesus Ancient City itself.

• Day 8: Santorini, Greece

  Curving around a majestic caldera, Santorini is one of the prettiest of the Greek Isles. Hop on the tender boat ashore, where the cable car will whisk you up to the cliff-top village of Thira with its quaint streets filled with restaurants, bars, and shops. Pay a visit to the cave houses at the beautiful village of Oia before heading down the steps to Amoudi Bay to feast on fresh seafood. Taste the unique beers at the Donkey Brewery close to the black pebbled sands of Kamari Beach. Explore the island's history at the Akrotiri archaeological site or admire the dramatic coastline by catamaran

• Day 9: Rhodes, Greece

  The Port of Rhodes sits on the northern edge of Rhodes Island — 12 miles off the coast of Turkey. With just a short walk you’ll reach the Citadel of Rhodes and its various boutiques, cafes and souvenir shops. Immerse yourself further in Rhodes’ fascinating history and visit the Palace of the Grand Masters. You can take a short 50-minute taxi ride to Lindos and witness the breathtaking Acropolis of Lindos. There are also an abundance of beaches on Rhodes to chill out and relax.

• Day 10: Mykonos, Greece

  Mykonos sits in the Aegean Sea with traditional white-washed houses and bright-blue waters. Wander the twisting narrow lanes, which were originally designed to confuse pirate invaders, and discover quaint shops and boutiques. Visit stylish beach bars, modern restaurants and see the iconic 16th-century Venetian windmills which overlook Mykonos town — the island's capital.

• Day 11: Athens (Piraeus), Greece to UK

  Disembark Celebrity Infinity and fly back to selected UK airports
