30/07/2026

An Oldham travel agent has raised £400 for a young carers charity with a fundraising skydive.

Ruby Spence Bridge, from Hays Travel on George Street in Oldham, took part in the skydive at Skydive Hibaldstow in Lincolnshire to raise money for Positive Steps Young Carers service, where they support young carers and their families in the Oldham area.

Ruby said: “It was one of the best things I have ever done and I will definitely be doing it again! My advice to others is just do it – it's such an amazing feeling!

“Up to now we have raised £400 for Positive Steps Young Carers. This is a charity that means a lot to me.”
