1. Canary Islands Fly-Cruises: More Choice, More Sunshine

If you're a fan of winter sun, this is one launch highlight worth getting excited about. P&O Cruises' Canary Islands fly-cruises are a popular choice for escaping the colder months, combining the ease of flying to your departure port with the fun of unpacking once and discovering several destinations on one holiday.

For Winter 2028/29, Azura introduces a brand-new dual turnaround option, with departures from Gran Canaria as well as Tenerife. What does that mean for you? More flexibility when choosing your departure date, plus another opportunity to find a sailing that fits your plans.

Why choose a Canary Islands fly-cruise?
Each island has its own personality, so you can spend one day exploring dramatic scenery and the next enjoying a leisurely lunch beside the sea. And with more calls to Agadir in Morocco, Azura's Canary Islands programme offers even more opportunities to add a little cultural discovery to your winter escape

Our tip: If the Canary Islands are on your winter wishlist, compare departures from Tenerife and Gran Canaria when choosing your cruise. The new dual turnaround option gives you more choice, so it's worth exploring the dates available before settling on your favourite.

2. Arcadia: A Special Final Chapter with P&O Cruises

Some ships hold a special place in cruisers' hearts, and Arcadia's upcoming departure from the P&O Cruises fleet makes her summer 2029 sailings particularly significant.

As part of the Winter 2028/29 launch, selected summer 2029 Arcadia departures are being released early, giving guests the opportunity to secure a place on some exciting voyages before the wider programme takes shape. And there's plenty to tempt you.

Mediterranean magic

Fancy wandering through iconic European cities, discovering centuries of history, and lingering over long lunches in sunny squares? Selected Arcadia sailings will feature the Mediterranean, offering opportunities to explore some of the region's most memorable destinations.

Scandinavia and Northern Europe

For something a little different, look towards Scandinavia and Northern Europe. Expect atmospheric cities, fascinating heritage, and beautiful coastal scenery, with every port offering a new perspective on this captivating part of the world.

The ever-popular Adriatic

The Adriatic is another highlight, bringing together beautiful coastlines, historic towns, and striking architecture. It's ideal for cruisers who love combining culture with those picture-perfect moments beside the water.

3. Arcadia's World Cruise: A Voyage of Discovery

If your idea of the ultimate holiday involves exploring far beyond the usual tourist trail, Arcadia's enhanced World Cruise for 2029 deserves a closer look.

The refreshed itinerary features a mix of returning ports, exciting new destinations, and a maiden call, giving this voyage its own distinctive character. One of the headline additions is Nosy Be in Madagascar, which Arcadia will visit for the first time. Think tropical island scenery, rich biodiversity, and a chance to experience a destination that feels a world away from everyday life.

The itinerary also includes an overnight call in Maputo, Mozambique, offering more time to explore the city and its surroundings. Japan remains an important part of the adventure, with a refreshed selection of ports designed to offer a different perspective on this fascinating country.

With returning ports, places not visited for many years and new experiences along the way, this is a World Cruise designed to keep discovery at its heart. If you want to see more of the world in one extraordinary journey, Arcadia's 2029 World Cruise is one to watch and reserve with our cruise experts.

4. Aurora's USA, Caribbean and South America Grand Tour

Ready for a big one? Aurora's USA and Caribbean Grand Tour returns for 2029 with an exciting addition: South America.

This enhanced voyage combines a collection of iconic North American destinations with Caribbean Island escapes and South American city experiences. The itinerary highlights include New Orleans, Miami, Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, alongside a partial transit of the iconic Panama Canal – one of the world's most remarkable feats of engineering.

And then the adventure continues south. Overnight calls in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo give guests additional time to experience two of Brazil's best-known cities. From Rio's famous waterfront setting to São Paulo's energetic urban culture, these extended stays offer more opportunity to explore beyond a quick port visit.

This is a wonderful option for travellers who want a longer voyage filled with variety. Especially when it offers tempting escapes from the colder months, with opportunities to enjoy beaches, island scenery, and a more relaxed pace of life.

5. Azura's Mediterranean Fly-Cruises: More Time to Explore

Not quite ready to say goodbye to summer? Azura's Mediterranean fly-cruise programme is being extended by two weeks into October 2028, creating more opportunities to enjoy a Mediterranean escape later in the season.

The extended programme includes an additional Central Mediterranean cruise featuring Dubrovnik and Split, as well as a Western Mediterranean sailing featuring Rome, via Civitavecchia, and Livorno for Florence and Pisa.

Croatia's Adriatic coastline is a dream for cruisers who love historic streets, beautiful harbours and coastal views. Dubrovnik's famous old town and Split's fascinating heritage make a brilliant pairing for a Mediterranean adventure. Prefer Italian culture and cuisine? A call at Civitavecchia opens the door to Rome's legendary landmarks, while Livorno provides access to Florence's artistic treasures and Pisa's iconic Leaning Tower.

With the season stretching further into October, there's more opportunity to find a sailing that suits your plans and enjoy some of Europe's most-loved destinations beyond the height of summer.
