The exchange rate shown on the Hays Travel Money website is guaranteed during the checkout process.
Please note that this rate will expire if the checkout session times out, or if you navigate away from or refresh the page. Once the checkout is completed, your rate is locked in and will be honoured when you collect your order.

• The minimum order amount is £200.
• The maximum order amount is £2,500.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you purchase the correct currency for your destination and that you comply with any UK or overseas laws regarding the amount of currency or cash allowed when entering or leaving a country or territory.
Hays Travel does not charge a fee when you pay using a debit, credit, or charge card. However, we recommend checking the terms and conditions of your card provider, as the transaction may be processed as a cash advance.
You can select a preferred collection date during the ordering process. However, please wait for your email confirmation before visiting your chosen branch, as this confirms your order is ready for collection.
We aim to have your order ready on the selected day, though availability may be later in the day.
If your order is not ready by the branch's close of business on your selected date, please contact the Hays Travel Customer Services Team on 0333 033 9985. We’ll either offer an alternative location for collection or arrange a refund.
We use your address to perform transaction checks for security purposes. If we are unable to verify your information, you may be directed to contact your selected branch directly and asked to provide additional documentation before you can place and pay for an order.
Yes. The person collecting the order must match the details of the person who made the payment. Please bring:
• The card used for payment
• Valid photo ID (e.g. passport or driving licence)
• Your order confirmation email (printed or shown on a digital device)
To protect you and help us prevent fraud, the person who pays must be the same person who collects the currency. At collection you will need to present the original payment card, a valid photo ID and your order confirmation. Orders where the cardholder does not match the person collecting may be refused.
No — for your security, only the cardholder used at payment can collect the order. If someone else tries to collect using a different name or card, they may be refused. Bringing the payment card, valid ID and order confirmation is a requirement.
If you would prefer specific denominations, you can request this when collecting your order in branch. We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.

Once an order has been paid for, it cannot be cancelled.
Hays Travel reserves the right to apply a £20.00 administration fee to process any refund to the original payment card.
