Corralejo
My latest adventure was to Corralejo and WOW. The sand dunes and beaches were all just beautiful, the waters were crystal clear and the sun was the perfect kind – HOT!
What a great find our hotel was, just a short stroll down the beach into the town and marina with plenty of shops. At night time there were buskers and plenty of bars to sit and watch the world go by.
Our party did a lot of walking in the morning and evenings, very unusual for me because I am absolutely a ‘relax as much as possible’ person on holiday. -
Palma Nova
I love Palma Nova for holidays with my old folk. It’s always a nice relaxed atmosphere with plenty of wifi points for my Dads obsession with ebay.
The beach is spotlessly clean and the water just lazily laps upon the sand which is ideal for my young son who can’t yet swim.
My Dad isn’t the best with crowds, so we tend to go self-catering and pick a quiet restaurant each night to eat out, there are more than enough to choose from.
It maybe wouldn’t be my first choice of places to go – but it means time with my folks, so always a great holiday. -
Egypt
What can I say – I love a beach holiday!!
You cannot go to Egypt and not go diving. I’m scared of water, but I was determined to pass my padi and get into the water and it was honestly the most amazing experience of my life (yes I’m still scared of water)
Apart from a few nights in Sharm I honestly sat and read books for 11 days and ate too much food – but sometimes that just the holiday you need.
