• Day 1 – London and Festive Feast

  Arrive in London and check into GEM Strathmore Hotel in South Kensington. Formerly the residence of the Grandfather of King Charles III, the Earl of Strathmore, the restored Victorian mansion oozes grandeur and personality, making it the perfect base for exploring the grand city of London. The 77 classic en-suite bedrooms boast carved wood furniture, LCD flat screen televisions, and Wi-Fi. There’s also an in-house restaurant serving breakfast and dinner and a lounge bar for drinks, light meals, and traditional afternoon tea. You can also see London from a unique perspective with an included one-way river cruise along the Thames, offering stunning views of the city's landmarks. The Great Christmas Feast takes place this evening. The Lost Estate's Dickensian dining is a shared-table event with live theatre, music, and a three-course Victorian-inspired banquet, with dishes like confit duck or a decadent vegetarian tart, finished with Christmas Pudding with Brandy Butter ice cream and creme anglaise, all crafted by Executive Chef Ashley Clarke. There is no formal dress code - though Victorian-inspired evening attire is encouraged for festive spirit! The performance starts at 7pm: doors and bar open one hour prior to the performance. The running time is approximately three hours and 30 minutes, including dining. We recommend getting to the venue early to take in your surroundings, get settled in your seat, and explore the drinks menu.

• Day 2 – London

  Today starts with breakfast at the hotel. Depending on you’re homeward journey; you may have time to explore local attractions such as Kensington Palace and Gardens, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Knightsbridge's famous shopping street and Harrods, and the Royal Albert Hall just a short walk away.
