Edinburgh & Glasgow Christmas Market Weekend Itinerary

• Day One – Travel to Glasgow

  Local departure by coach or Home Connect service; then on to Scotland and the Castlecary Hotel for a three-night stay. Mulled wine and a mince pie will be served on arrival followed by dinner in the evening.

• Day Two – Edinburgh Christmas Market

  Today, after breakfast you’ll get to discover Scotland's historic capital, Edinburgh, and its magical Christmas market. As one of the most popular festive markets in the UK, expect plenty of traditional European-style chalets selling unique gifts and crafts. Why not enjoy some festive treats from the food stalls or indulge in a hot chocolate? Later, you’ll return back to the hotel in time for your Christmas dinner this evening.

• Day Three – Glasgow Christmas Market

  Breakfast is followed by a day at Glasgow Christmas Market. In the heart of Scotland’s most vibrant city, Glasgow Christmas Market transforms George Square and St Enoch Square into a festive wonderland. The market spans both squares, each with its unique charm. St Enoch Square, one of Glasgow’s central points, is home to more than 50 Christmas chalets and traders from across the globe, selling an array of artisan products, crafts, and high-quality food and drink. Dinner is served at the hotel this evening.

• Day Four – Travel Home

  After breakfast, brimming with festive cheer, you’ll begin your journey home. Please note: If the Christmas markets are rescheduled or cancelled, the excursions will still visit the same destinations for time at leisure.
