Getting There
Reaching the Bahamas is straightforward!
Flying from England to the Bahamas is simple, with British Airways offering direct flights from London Heathrow to Nassau. Alternatively, airlines such as Virgin Atlantic, Delta, and American Airlines provide options with stopovers in hubs like Miami, Atlanta, or New York, with a total journey time of around 11 to 15 hours. Once in Nassau, onward travel is seamless—regular domestic flights and ferries connect you to the Out Islands, while taxis, buses, and car rentals make exploring New Providence and Paradise Island easy.

The Islands
Uncover The Abacos - the Boating Capital of the Bahamas; Acklins and Crooked Island’s unspoilt beauty; Andros’ outdoor adventures; The Berry Islands’ big game fishing; Bimini’s legendary islands; Cat Island’s escapism; and a tale of two islands on Eleuthera and Harbour Island. Experience the Exumas’ famed swimming pigs; Grand Bahama Island’s tropical playground of Freeport; Inagua - the Birdwatching Capital of The Bahamas; and Long Island’s coral reefs and beaches. Delight in the pirate stronghold turned prized fishing spot – Mayaguana; the tropics meet big city life at Nassau and Paradise Island; Ragged Island’s undisturbed nature; Rum Cay’s peaceful seclusion; and the small island with a big story - San Salvador!

Food and Drink
Fresh flavours fuel every experience in The Bahamas – from fresh lobster and conch fritters to Eleuthera-grown sugarloaf pineapples and island-made rum. No visit to The Bahamas is complete without enjoying Peas ‘n Rice, Johnny Cake, Guava Duff, and drinks like Kalik beer, Switcha limeade, and Bahama Mama and Goombay Smash cocktails. Every island in The Bahamas hosts a Fish Fry – a quintessentially Bahamian, culinary gathering place, with street vendors or beach shacks serving some of best, most authentic island cuisine – with Nassau’s Arawak Cay the biggest and most extravagant.

Family Fun
Go wild at Paradise Island’s Aquaventure at Atlantis and Nassau’s Baha Bay Water Park. Swim with pigs in the Exumas, encounter wild stingrays at Bimini’s Honeymoon Harbour, and interact with Blue Lagoon Island’s sea lions and dolphins.
