Cruise Itinerary

• Day 1: London Heathrow or Manchester, UK to New Orleans, USA

  Fly, arrive and transfer to New Orleans for you 4-night stay.

• Day 2: New Orleans (Louisiana) USA

  Let’s go and explore! Enjoy the day exploring New Orleans with a complimentary city experience or tour. Enjoy a £40 per person credit towards this courtesy of Hays Travel. Options to pre-book your experience will be available no earlier than 10 months prior to departure.

• Day 3: New Orleans (Louisiana) USA

  Morning and afternoon will be at leisure. In the evening, your Hays Travel Host will be hosting a dinner for the group. Venue and times have yet to be determined. This is to ensure all customers food requirements have been met. Notifications will be sent prior to travel.

• Day 4: New Orleans (Louisiana) USA

  Surprise and Delight! Happy Halloween!! Take Halloween and multiply this by 20!!! Businesses and homes go the extra mile to make the holiday special. Locals and tourists get into the spirit of Halloween. There is already a spooky vibe to French Quarter with its history and ghostly tales. On the evening, we have an optional hosted group activity full of fun, costumes and few surprises along the way!

• Day 5: New Orleans (Louisiana) USA (Embarkation Day)

  Embark on board Norwegian Escape for your 7-night cruise. C’est la vie to New Orleans as your 7-night epic Western Caribbean cruises begins on the amazing Norwegian Escape. You’ll be transferred from the hotel to the port with your Host. Upon embarkation it is your time to shine and explore everything Norwegian Cruise Line has to offer.

• Day 6: At sea

  Day at sea. Norwegian Escape® offers the ultimate playground at sea for all ages. Take hanging out to new heights on the ropes course and dare to walk the plank, which extends eight feet over the side of the ship. Slow things down in the Spa Thermal Suite. Dine oceanside along The Waterfront where every table boasts the best views. Roll into good times at the casino, rock out to live music and catch amazing original productions. And that’s just the beginning. Serve up all that excitement and relaxation with a wide selection of delicious cuisine. Then let the good times flow at one of our unique bars and lounges.

• Day 7: Cozumel, Mexico

  The island of Cozumel off the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula continues to be known for its fantastic fishing, snorkelling and diving opportunities. And despite the growth of tourism in recent years, the island and its only town, San Miguel, retain much of their original warmth and charm.

• Day 8: Harvest Caye, Belize (NCL's Private Island Paradise)

  This private island paradise is a 75-acre island featuring plenty of facilities and activities to have fun on. Such as the 15,000 square foot swimming pool. A 1300-foot-long zip line which is 136 feet above the ground and a beautiful 7-acre white sandy beach. So many things to do while in Harvest Caye, Belize. The port’s entrance is lined with mist jets that spray you with water keeping you cool and moisturized in the Caribbean heat. The paved paths lead to different facilities available on the island, starting with the shopping area which features shops like Moho chocolates, Rum testing centre and other small shops that sell jewellery, t-shirts, perfumes, handwoven items and beautiful paintings. At the centre of the cruise port area, behind the directions board is the Blue Morpho butterfly and wildlife/nature sanctuary. This is a free nature park, where you can visit and learn about Harvest Caye’s flora and fauna. To the right of the centre is a giant swimming pool area, the beach, the lagoon, a kid’s splash pad, the Landshark Bar, and Grill. Here is where you will probably spend your day if you haven’t booked any excursions. Further down the island, you will get to the lighthouse called the Flight House where the 1300-foot-long zip line course starts from. Right next to the lighthouse is the start point of the lagoon, which is famous for kayaking and paddle boarding.

• Day 9: Roatan (Bay Islands), Honduras

  Beautiful and unspoiled, Roatán is a peaceful, eco-tourist's dream, just 30 miles off the coast of Honduras. Teeming with marine life and home to some of the best pillar coral in the Caribbean, the pristine Honduran Reef is a diver's paradise. And the beauty of Tabyana Beach is always a sight to see. NOTE: For travel departures after the 16 August 2024, UK nationals will be required a visa to enter Honduras.

• Day 10: Costa Maya, Mexico

  This coastal paradise in the Yucatan features stunning beaches with soft sand and blue skies. Travel to see ancient Mayan ruins in this region rich with archaeological sites.

• Day 11: At sea

  It’s time to chill out and relax on your day and night. Experience everything you can onboard Norwegian Escape® or just sit back & relax to recharge those batteries.

• Day 12: New Orleans (Louisiana) USA

  Today your cruise comes to an end. GOODBYE! Upon disembarkation, your transfers will take you back to the airport. Your host will guide you to the check-in area for your return flight back to the UK. On arrival back into Heathrow or Manchester it is time to say good-bye and make your way back home and pass along all the memories with your loved ones.
