Royal Caribbean - Icon of the Seas®
About Icon of the Seas®
Icon of the Seas® is Royal Caribbean International’s flagship and the world’s largest cruise ship, debuting in 2024 as the first in the new Icon Class. At nearly 365 meters long and able to carry up to 7,600 guests, it offers a ground-breaking mix of innovation, entertainment, and family-friendly features. The ship is divided into eight themed neighbourhoods, each with its own dining, pools, and attractions, from the record-breaking waterpark Thrill Island to the glass-domed AquaDome and the first suspended infinity pool at sea. With over 40 restaurants and bars, 2,800+ staterooms, and unique suites like the Ultimate Family Townhouse, it redefines large-scale cruising. Powered by LNG dual-fuel engines, it represents Royal Caribbean’s push toward more sustainable travel while delivering a floating resort experience from its Miami homeport to the Caribbean.
Its sister ship, the new Legend of the Seas®, launching in 2026, continues the Icon Class legacy with similar innovations and enhancements.
