LEGOLAND Dubai 2025: Our Epic Family-Friendly Educational Trip

LEGOLAND Dubai is part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, located just off Sheikh Zayed Road between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It’s a LEGO-themed amusement park designed for families with kids aged 2–12. But don’t let that age range fool you. We’re a team of grown adults, and we had an absolute blast! The park is split into six themed lands.

Each zone offers its own unique rides, attractions, and building experiences. Plus plenty of spots to eat, relax, and, of course, shop.

You may be thinking, how much can you squeeze into one day at LEGOLAND Dubai. And the answer is loads! Here are just a few of my favourite parts of the park. 

The magic doesn’t end when the park closes. It follows you all the way back to your room. We stayed at the LEGOLAND Hotel Dubai, and honestly, it was like stepping into a life-sized LEGO set. Every room is themed, and you get to choose your adventure: will you be Pirates setting sail, Kingdom knights on a quest, Ninjago heroes in training, or Friends enjoying a colourful escape?

What really made the experience stand out was how thoughtful the design was for families. The rooms gave the kids their own space to play and unwind, which, let's be honest, gives parents a moment to breathe. Every detail, from the LEGO models on the walls to the treasure chest filled with a surprise, was created to delight children, but still felt comfortable and relaxing for adults. It was the kind of room where your kids gasp when they walk in, and that alone is worth it.

What really makes the stay unforgettable, though, is the staff. They don’t just look after the children; they go above and beyond to make them feel like VIPs. From the moment we checked in, the staff were in full play mode, high-fiving kids, making mealtimes, and handing out treasure hunt clues like it was the most important mission in the world. It’s clear they love creating moments that kids will remember long after the holiday ends.

And here’s the real game-changer for families: if you stay at the hotel, you get unlimited free access to both the LEGOLAND Theme Park and the Water Park. No extra tickets, no extra planning. You literally walk out of the lobby, and you’re steps away from the rides. It means you can easily head out early for a few rides, come back to cool off at the pool and return in the afternoon without any stress when the kids are ready for more.
