Hello, my name is Sophie and I love to make people's holidays extra special. 
 

I’ve now been with Hays Travel for two and a half years, gaining valuable experience across both Business Travel and the Virtual Contact Centre. My passion for travel and tourism started at a young age and has only grown stronger over time. Before joining Hays, I worked for an airline at my local airport, which gave me a solid foundation in the industry and a love for helping passengers make their holidays extra special. I love a party scene, Including Ibiza and Zakynthos. I do love House/ Techno music, events, festivals and nightclubs so put them all together whilst mixed with sun is my ideal holiday.

From the iconic clubs of San Antonio to the serene beaches of Cala Comte and Es Vedrà, Ibiza offers something for every kind of holidaymaker. Rich in culture and history, visitors can explore charming villages, bustling markets, and ancient sites that tell the story of the island’s diverse heritage. Whether you're dancing until dawn at world-famous beach clubs, discovering hidden coves along the rugged coastline, or unwinding in a luxury villa, Ibiza’s energy, beauty, and laid-back charm make it a destination that keeps travellers coming back for more.

Its easy to see why Ibiza is one of the world’s most iconic party destinations. The nightlife is unmatched-home to legendary clubs like Pacha, Amnesia, Ho Ibiza, and Ushuaia, each offering a unique experience. One night I was dancing under the stars at Ushuaïa’s open-air stage, and the next I was deep in the crowd at Amnesia, surrounded by lights and music that felt endless. But it’s not all big venues-Ibiza’s charm lies in its variety. I watched the sunset at Cafe Mambo in San Antonio with chilled house music and cocktails, then found myself in a hidden hilltop club with underground beats. Whether you’re into glitz or something more intimate, Ibiza’s nightlife has something for everyone.

While Ibiza’s parties are legendary, the island’s natural beauty is just as unforgettable. I spent my days exploring some of the 50 beaches, each with its own vibe—from lively shores like Playa d’en Bossa to quiet gems like Cala Saladeta. One of the highlights was a boat trip to Formentera, a nearby island that feels like a peaceful escape you can  snorkel in turquoise waters, cycled through sleepy villages, and relaxed on white sand beaches that felt untouched. Back on Ibiza, If you venture inland you discover pine forests, olive groves, and charming towns filled with local art and food. It’s easy to forget how rich and diverse the island is beyond the clubs. Whether you’re hiking, swimming, or just soaking in the views, Ibiza offers a tranquil side that’s just as captivating.

What's so striking about Ibiza is how it manages to be everything at once. For some, it’s the ultimate party. For others, it’s a retreat, a creative space, or a nature escape. I met artists, DJs, families, and solo travelers -all drawn to the island for different reasons. You even stumble upon a wellness retreat in the hills, where people were doing yoga and sound healing. Ibiza doesn’t ask you to be anyone but yourself. You can dance all night, meditate at sunrise, or simply relax by the sea. That freedom is what makes it so special. It’s not just a destination—it’s an experience that adapts to you. Leaving was hard, but I know I’ll be back. Ibiza’s energy, beauty, and spirit stay with you long after you’ve gone.
