Hays Travel Airdrie customer wins £2,500 holiday voucher

A Hays Travel customer has won a £2,500 holiday voucher at his local branch.

George Cane was entered into a competition after topping up his Travel Money card in the Airdrie store.

Customers can add funds to the Hays Travel Mastercard in a range of currencies.

And between 31 May and 30 September, travellers who top up £500 or more are entered into a prize draw.

Alan Daly, branch manager at Hays Travel Airdrie, said: “George took the card out initially after coming in to buy Euros and we explained the benefits of the card.

“He said he loves it and has used it ever since.

“The reason George topped up when he did – which is what entered him into the draw – was because we had emailed him about a rate sale on the card which got him the best rate for his currency.”

George is undecided on how he will redeem the voucher.

He is considering a cruise or using it on a couple of different trips, like a beach holiday and a city break to Rome.
