Hello, My name is Rachael and I am very passionate about Cruising.

I am a proud mum to two amazing girls, a playful Wheaten Terrier named Cosmo, and a curious cat called Winnie. I’m happiest by the coast or cruising across the sea, where I feel truly at home. With over 25 years of cruising experience, I live and breathe all things cruise — perfect for my role in the cruise department! In my spare time, I love getting lost in a good book and spending quality time with my family.

I’ve just returned from another incredible cruise aboard the beautiful Britannia. This time, we chose an Obstructed Balcony cabin, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. The cabin was bright, modern, and very comfortable, with the added luxury of stepping out onto our own private balcony. There’s nothing quite like watching the sunrise with a warm cup of tea or enjoying a peaceful sunset with a glass of wine in hand. Sailing from Southampton has its perks - tea and coffee are provided in the cabin, making those quiet moments even more special. The overall experience was relaxing, elegant, and full of memorable moments both onboard and ashore. Britannia truly knows how to make every journey feel special.

Our Mediterranean itinerary was filled with stunning Spanish ports, each offering its own charm and character. Palma was a highlight - we wandered through its picturesque streets, tasted delicious local tapas, and admired iconic landmarks like the majestic Cathedral and the historic Palace. Every stop brought something new, from vibrant markets to peaceful coastal views. We soaked up the sunshine, embraced the culture, and enjoyed the perfect balance of relaxation and exploration. Onboard, there was plenty of time to unwind, indulge in great food, and take in the entertainment. The combination of ship and shore made for an unforgettable experience, blending adventure with comfort in the most beautiful way.

Entertainment onboard Britannia was just as impressive as the destinations. The shows were top-tier, offering something for every taste - from dazzling theatre productions to live music and films. One standout was Gravity, a spectacular performance that left us amazed every time. Whether we were enjoying a lively evening in the theatre, relaxing in one of the ship’s stylish lounges, or catching a movie under the stars, there was always something to enjoy. Britannia truly knows how to deliver unforgettable moments at sea. With such a wide variety of entertainment, every night felt special. It’s one of the many reasons I can’t wait to sail with her again - she makes every journey feel extraordinary.
