About this tour

Southern Africa is a land of awe-inspiring landscapes, vibrant towns, and extraordinary wildlife. This 18-day adventure takes you through South Africa, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. Marvel at Cape Town framed by Table Mountain, stroll through charming Knysna, and indulge in four nights of luxury aboard a restored vintage train. Along the route, admire sweeping rivers, ancient baobabs, and vast game parks. Continuing north, witness elephants in Hwange, hippos in the Chobe River, and the thundering spectacle of Victoria Falls.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: UK - Delhi

You’ll transfer to the airport via Titan’s nationwide chauffeur service, which collects you from home for your flight.
Day 2: Delhi

Arrive in Delhi. After a little time for refreshment and relaxation, you will head out on an afternoon sightseeing tour of New Delhi. See the India Gate memorial and pass the official residence of the President of India. Later you’ll continue to UNESCO protected Qutab Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world.
Day 3: Delhi - Agra

This morning your tour concentrates on Old Delhi. See the black marble memorial to Mahatma Gandhi and the grand Jama Masjid. Also stop by the UNESCO listed memorial to the Mughal emperor Humayun and the historic Red Fort, the one-time residence of the Mughal Emperor. In the afternoon, make your way to Agra.
Day 4: Agra

Have your very own Princess Diana moment in front of the Taj Mahal today. After a morning here, move on to Agra’s imposing fort.
Days 5-6: Fatehpur Sikri - Ranthambore

Your journey continues with a visit to the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri, once the capital of the Mughal Empire. Later, continue by road to Bharatpur. Board a train bound for Sawai Madhopur, then journey on to Ranthambore National Park. Head out in search of leopards, monkeys, birds and sloth bears on two game drives where you may even spot the elusive Bengal tiger - a greater possibility nowadays thanks to the conservation work of the Ranthambore Foundation.
Day 6: Charlottetown

This morning, visit Green Gables Heritage Place, the setting for Canada’s most beloved literary work, Anne of Green Gables, before heading back to Charlottetown for a short orientation tour followed by free time.
Day 7: Ranthambore - Jaipur

Make your way north-west to Jaipur.
Day 8: Jaipur

A full-day tour of Jaipur reveals why this great city is considered one of India’s foremost cultural attractions. After an early start, drive up to the Amber Fort, a beautiful sandstone palace perched on a hilltop. Tour the fort, then head to the foothill lake. Explore the City Palace and the 18th-century Jantar Mantar observatory.
Day 9: Delhi

Enjoy a final night in Delhi.
Day 10: Delhi - UK

Today, you’ll fly back home to the UK.
