Tour Itinerary

• Day 1 • Flight to Atlanta

  Kick your holiday off with a direct flight to Atlanta, where you’ll be met at the airport by your friendly local tour manager. You’ll then board a coach for the journey north into Tennessee for your first hotel stay in Chattanooga - of "Choo-Choo" fame - on the banks of the Tennessee River.

• Day 2 • Included tour of Chattanooga & Drive to Nashville

  Begin with a guided introduction to Chattanooga, exploring its Civil War history, rail heritage, and Terminal Station, known as the Chattanooga Choo Choo, before driving through Tennessee’s countryside to Nashville. After checking into your hotel, enjoy a free evening to experience the city’s famed country music scene, honky-tonks, breweries, and distilleries along Broadway.

• Day 3 • Day at leisure with optional visit

  Spend the day at leisure or join an optional tour of Nashville’s highlights, visiting the legendary RCA Studio B on Music Row and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum to explore its vast collection and exhibits. Later, explore downtown Nashville, including Lower Broadway, with the option to visit the Johnny Cash Museum.

• Day 4 • Travel to Memphis

  Travel to Memphis, Elvis Presley’s hometown and a city famed for blues, soul, and rock ’n’ roll, where musical heritage fills its streets, museums, and live venues. Check into the Guesthouse at Graceland and enjoy a free evening, with the option to visit lively Beale Street for live music or sample Memphis’s famous barbecue.

• Day 5 • Day at leisure with optional visit

  Join an optional full-day Memphis tour visiting the city’s musical landmarks, including Sun Studio, where Elvis Presley and other rock ’n’ roll legends recorded, followed by Elvis Presley Boulevard and Graceland to explore his mansion, final recording studio, classic cars, costumes, museums, and interactive exhibits.

• Day 6 • Travel via Tupelo to New Orleans

  Check out of the hotel and travel to Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Presley’s birthplace, where you can visit his childhood home and family church, then continue south through Mississippi to New Orleans, Louisiana. After checking into a hotel in the historic French Quarter, enjoy the city’s lively atmosphere, live jazz, and Creole and Cajun cuisine.

• Day 7 • Day at leisure with optional New Orleans tour

  Spend the day at leisure or join a morning tour of New Orleans, exploring the French Quarter, Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral, the Garden District, Lafayette Cemetery No. 1, Charles Avenue, and the National WWII Museum. In the afternoon, optional excursions include a bayou tour to spot alligators and learn about local ecosystems, or a steamboat dinner jazz cruise on the Mississippi, with live music and dinner, before another evening at leisure.

• Day 8 • Board MS Carnival Liberty and sail from New Orlean

  Enjoy a morning at your own pace in the ‘Big Easy’, perhaps taking in the French Quarter by daylight or with a stroll along the waterfront. This afternoon, step aboard the Carnival Liberty, your home-from-home for the next seven days, before setting sail for the northern Caribbean. • Day 9 • Day at Sea

  Sail across the Gulf of Mexico today and embrace a relaxing day under your own steam. If you’re keen to make the most of the ship’s amenities, you can sip on a cocktail and watch an act at the Punchliner Comedy Club, catch a movie on deck at the on-board cinema, or opt for a treatment at the spa. For those in search of a more relaxed time aboard, you’ll be free to do as little as you’d like from one of a sun lounger.

• Day 10 • Included visit to Key West, Florida

  Today, dock in Key West, Florida Keys, and explore its 19th-century architecture, historic old town, harbourside saloons, and white-sand beaches at your own pace. Optional excursions include a Conch Train tour, glass-bottom boat reef tour, or catamaran snorkeling, before returning to the ship for an overnight sail to Grand Bahama.

• Day 11 • Included call at Celebration Key

  Wake up in Grand Bahama at Celebration Key™, Carnival’s exclusive resort, and enjoy a full day at leisure across its family-friendly and adult-only zones, relaxing at Pearl Cove Beach Club, browsing Lokono Cove’s Bahamian markets, or enjoying drinks by the Calypso Lagoon pool, before returning to Carnival Liberty for an overnight sail south.

• Day 12 • Included call in Nassau

  Dock in Nassau on New Providence and enjoy a full day at leisure exploring the pastel-coloured streets, historic pirate-era buildings, Junkanoo Beach, Arawak Cay’s “Fish Fry,” or Fort Charlotte, before reboarding the ship for the two-day sail back to New Orleans.

• Day 13 • Day at Sea

  Your penultimate day of cruising sees you trace the Bahamas before heading back along the Gulf Coast. You’ll have another chance to make the most of the ship’s facilities, or simply unwind after a busy few days’ island-hopping exploration.

• Day 14 • Day at Sea

  Wake up to panoramic ocean views this morning ahead of a third and final day at leisure on the open ocean. With a full day to spend as you see fit, be sure to make the most of the on-board facilities or perhaps just unwind by the poolside.

• Day 15 • Travel to Biloxi

  Arriving back in New Orleans early this morning, disembark the ship and head east through Mississippi, with a stop in coastal Bay St. Louis, to the resort town of Biloxi for a relaxing overnight stay. Upon arrival, settle into your next hotel for the final night of your all-American escape.

• Day 16 • Travel to Atlanta and return flight to the UK

  Check out of your hotel this morning and head to the airport for your overnight return flight to the UK.

• Day 17 • Land in the UK

  Touch down in the UK at the end of an unforgettable trip.
