Tour Itinerary

• Day 1 • Flight to Miami

  Touch down on Florida’s East Coast today and meet your friendly local tour manager upon arrival. You’ll then transfer to your four-star hotel in Fort Lauderdale for check-in ahead of an afternoon at leisure to settle in.

• Day 2 • Florida & tour of Miami

  Travel south to Miami today, visiting South Beach to explore Collins Avenue’s art-deco architecture, boutiques, and seafront before continuing to Little Havana, where you’ll experience the vibrant Latin culture shaped by Cuban heritage, with the rest of the afternoon free to explore at leisure.

• Day 3 • Board your Holland America Line Cruise

  Your third day in Florida marks the start of your Caribbean cruise. Spend a final few hours ashore this morning before heading to the port to board your cruise ship. After checking into your cabin, you’ll have the rest of the day free and can get acquainted with the on-board amenities before watching the sun go down over the Atlantic as you cruise south.

• Day 4 • Call at Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

  Your first shore excursions await today in Half Moon Cay, a serene private island in the heart of the idyllic Bahamas. Known for its white-sand beaches, turquoise lagoons and the cabanas that dot its palm-lined beaches, the island is a popular port of call on any cruise itinerary, and you’ll be well-placed to enjoy its finest coastal vistas. While exploring this Bahamian island, you can also join a range of optional activities offered by Holland America Line, including boat snorkelling, horseback riding and a stingray feeding experience in a nearby cove.

• Day 5-6 • Day at Sea

  Wake up to views of the glittering Caribbean Sea ahead of a full day at leisure as your ship travels south. Take advantage of the ship’s on-board amenities, from its live entertainment venues and sundeck cinemas to its fitness suites and swimming pools. You’ll also have access to a range of award-winning restaurants, whether you’re in the mood for casual street food or a more refined dining experience.

• Day 7 • Willemstad, Curacao

  On 2026 departures, spend the day exploring Willemstad, Curaçao’s colourful capital, enjoying free time to soak up its laid-back atmosphere, pastel architecture, and sample the island’s blue liqueur, with optional excursions to cultural highlights including an ostrich farm, aloe plantation, and key landmarks, before continuing west to Colombia. On 2027 departures, visit Aruba instead, enjoying a full day at leisure in Oranjestad to explore its pastel streets, white-sand beaches, rugged cactus landscapes, and optional activities.

• Day 8 • Day at Sea

  Relax with another full day at sea today, perhaps sipping a cocktail on the sundeck or catching some live entertainment in the Rolling Stone Lounge. If you haven’t already, you can also find a number of shops below deck, or try your luck at a few rounds of cards in the ship’s casino.

• Day 9 • Cartagena, Colombia

  Explore historic Cartagena, one of South America’s oldest cities and a former wealthy Caribbean trading port, admiring its fortified old town, grand architecture, street markets, and landmarks at leisure. Optional activities include guided city walks, a traditional jewellery-making class, or a visit to the National Aviary of Colombia, before returning to sea later in the afternoon.

• Day 10 • Panama Canal Cristobal, Gatun Lake & Colon

  Sail the historic Panama Canal today, passing through the mighty locks at Cristobal with expert commentary on its history and engineering, before cruising across Gatun Lake to spot wildlife such as crocodiles, sloths, and monkeys. Continue past Panama City, where modern skyscrapers meet the historic Casco Viejo, then return to Cristobal for an evening visit to Colón before settling in for an overnight sailing north.

• Day 11 • Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

  Wake up in Puerto Limón on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast and enjoy free time to explore Balvanero Vargas Park or relax on the city’s beaches. Optional excursions include a boat tour through Tortuguero National Park’s lagoons and turtle nesting grounds, a cultural drive through Cieneguita with a live Afro-Caribbean dance performance, or visits to nearby plantations and haciendas.

• Day 12 • Day at Sea

  Another full day’s sailing includes more opportunities to enjoy the first-class onboard amenities and you’ll be free to do as much or as little as you like. If you haven’t already, you could try your hand at pickleball on the top deck or learn more about the Caribbean’s storied past with a talk at the World Stage auditorium.

• Day 13 • George Town, Cayman Islands

  Dock in George Town, Grand Cayman’s elegant capital, and enjoy free time to explore its 19th-century architecture, Cardinall Avenue boutiques, clear-water beaches, or the Cayman Islands National Museum. Optional activities include a semi-submersible reef tour, a visit to the Cayman Turtle Centre, or a rum distillery tour and tasting.

• Day 14 • Day at Sea

  Spend your final day at sea as you see fit with a full day under your own steam.

• Day 15 • Call at Fort Lauderdale

  Rise to the sights and sounds of the Floridian coast as you return to Fort Lauderdale. After disembarking, return to your Fort Lauderdale Beach hotel for a further two nights. After checking back in, you’ll have the remainder of the day at leisure.

• Day 16 • Optional Everglades airboat tour & Palm Beach visit

  Join an optional airboat excursion into Florida’s Everglades, the largest subtropical region in the U.S., gliding through mangrove swamps with an expert guide to spot alligators, water snakes, and birdlife. Continue to Palm Beach to explore its beachfront setting, 1920s architecture, boutiques, galleries, and the iconic Breakers Hotel, before returning to Fort Lauderdale to relax along the seafront and enjoy dinner locally.

• Day 17 • Morning at leisure and fly back to the UK

  Spend a final few hours enjoying the sunshine today before heading to the airport for your overnight flight.

• Day 18 • Land back in the UK

  Land back in the UK after your overnight return flight.
