Tour Itinerary

• Days 1-3: UK - Auckland

  Fly overnight to Auckland, landing on day 3 where you’ll enjoy a group evening meal.

• Day 4: Auckland

  Enjoy a tour this morning, where you can take in the spectacular skyline of the largest city in New Zealand and visit the must-see sights.

• Day 5: Auckland - Rotorua

  Journey through the Waikato farming region to Rotorua, stopping off at the Waitomo Caves where you can witness the fascinating glow-worm grotto.

• Day 6: Rotorua

  This morning, see the spouting geysers and boiling mud pools at the Te Puia Thermal Reserve. Optional: Tour of Hobbiton

• Days 8-9: Napier - Wellington

  Head to Wellington today for a guided tour taking in the city’s main sights and another day free to explore.

• Day 10: Wellington - Christchurch

  Set sail for the South Island today, where you’ll stop in Christchurch.

• Day 11: Christchurch - Omarama

  Enjoy a tour of Christchurch before driving across the fantastic scenery of the Canterbury Plains to Omarama in the Mount Cook region.

• Day 12: Omarama - Queenstown

  Depart the Mount Cook region and head to the gold mining town of Arrowtown, then Queenstown. Optional: Scenic flight over mountains and glaciers

• Day 13: Milford Sound

  Today you’ll cruise on Milford Sound, one of the most beautiful locations in New Zealand.

• Day 14: Queenstown

  Spend today exploring Queenstown at your leisure.

• Day 15: Queenstown - Franz Josef

  Travel north, through the scenic Westland National Park, to Franz Josef, a region renowned for magnificent scenery and glaciers.

• Day 16: TranzAlpine train

  Embark on the TranzAlpine Express for a spectacular journey through the Southern Alps, passing majestic gorges and snow-capped peaks. You’ll arrive in Christchurch this evening.

• Days 17-18: Christchurch - UK

  Transfer to the airport and catch your overnight flight back to the UK.
