Hays Travel Foreign Exchange Click & Collect Online Purchase Terms & Conditions
1. General
By placing an order through Hays Travel’s Foreign Exchange Click & Collect service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.
You must be a UK resident with a valid form of identification (passport or valid photo driving licence)
3. Ordering Currency
Orders must be placed online via the official Hays Travel website.
Minimum and maximum order limits may apply and will be displayed during the ordering process.
Denomination mix will be provided to you based on the availability of currency available from our currency supplier. All notes provided will be checked for validity and condition of notes may vary – mint condition notes cannot be guaranteed
4. Exchange Rates
The exchange rate applied is the rate displayed at the time of order confirmation.
Rates are subject to change until payment of order and may differ from in-store rates.
5. Payment
Payment must be made online using a valid debit or credit card.
Full payment is required at the time of order.
Hays Travel does not accept cash or cheque payments for online orders.
Hays Travel does not apply any additional fees or surcharges for credit card payments, please your check card issuers terms & conditions for any fees incurred for purchasing currency.
6. Collection
Currency must be collected from the selected Hays Travel branch following receipt of email confirming your order is ready for collection
You must present your order confirmation, valid ID and original payment card at the time of collecting your order, your currency cannot be released without this
7. Cancellations & Refunds
Order cannot be cancelled after payment has been made
8. Liability
Hays Travel is not liable for any losses resulting from exchange rate fluctuations.
§ We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control (e.g., system outages, courier delays). Hays Travel will not be liable for any compensation should there be any delays in the delivery of your order or in the event we are unable to process the order when you visit the branch. We recommend you ensure you select a suitable collection date that would allow you to make alternative arrangements should Hays not be able to process your order on the selected collection date
9. Compliance
All transactions are subject to anti-money laundering regulations.
Hays Travel reserves the right to refuse service or request additional documentation.
10. Buy Back Guarantee
At the time of ordering travel money, you will be offered buy back guarantee which if selected will add a further £3.95 to your order.
