New York City was somewhere I travelled over 170 times during my time with Virgin Atlantic— and still get excited every single visit! There’s just something about the energy of the city that never gets old.

Every trip, I’m drawn to the theatre, seeing a Broadway show surrounded by the lights and buzz of Times Square is pure magic. I also love taking in the architecture, from the towering Empire State Building to the quiet charm of brownstone-lined streets, the city’s skyline never fails to impress; and how could it with such iconic landmarks like the Chrysler Building and the Statue of Liberty.
Of course, no visit is complete without seeing the sights: strolling through Central Park, walking the High Line, standing in awe at the 9/11 Memorial, or crossing the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset. Even just exploring neighbourhoods like SoHo or the West Village can feel like discovering somewhere new every time.

And let’s talk about the pizza! I’ve tried more slices than I can count, and I’ll happily point you to the best pizza places (they’re worth the trip alone).

A day in SF wouldn’t be complete without a stop at the Ferry Building for local bites or an escape to Alcatraz for some fascinating history or even a little visit to Mrs Doughfires house.
LA—endless sunshine, palm-lined boulevards, and a creative buzz that’s totally contagious. Whether I’m wandering through the hip shops in Silver Lake, catching a movie at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre, or hiking up to the Griffith Observatory for sweeping views of the city and the Hollywood Sign, LA always delivers. The beaches are a whole vibe too—Venice for people-watching, Santa Monica for classic fun, and Malibu for a laid-back escape. And the food scene? From food trucks to Michelin stars, there’s always something unforgettable on the menu.
Las Vegas, of course, is a pure spectacle, from the glittering Strip to the vibrant arts district downtown. Every visit feels like stepping into another world. I love catching a world-class show, dining at over-the-top restaurants, or simply people-watching in a casino lobby. But there’s also another side to Vegas: just beyond the neon lights, you’ll find stunning desert landscapes, Red Rock Canyon hikes, and unforgettable sunsets over the Mojave.

Poniente, just around the bend, is more relaxed—ideal for long strolls, sunset views, and quieter vibes. And if you wander a little farther, you’ll find hidden coves and crystal-clear waters that feel like your own private paradise.
Benidorm’s old town is a gem—narrow cobbled streets, whitewashed buildings, and tapas bars tucked into every corner. I always end up at the Balcón del Mediterráneo, that iconic lookout between the two beaches. It’s the kind of spot that makes you pause, breathe, and just take it all in. And the food? Think sizzling prawns, rich paellas, and glasses of tinto de verano on a warm terrace, with laughter floating through the air.
Then there’s the nightlife defiantly colourful, unapologetic, and endlessly fun. From karaoke bars to rooftop lounges, drag shows to dance clubs, Benidorm comes alive after dark. But what I love most is that there’s something for everyone—whether you’re out until sunrise or just catching some live music after dinner.
And just beyond the city, the mountains and natural parks are waiting. A hike up to the La Cruz de Benidorm rewards you with panoramic views, while nearby villages like Altea or Guadalest offer a quieter, more traditional escape with whitewashed houses and timeless charm.
