I love this beautiful little Balearic island. I worked here as a holiday rep for 2 summer seasons and it will forever hold a very special place in my heart. Over 120 beaches and coves to discover, amazing restaurants in caves, sugar lump villages, fabulous boat trips, step into a cosmopolitan marina lifestyle at the fantastic harbours, visit the gin factory or the monastery on top of Monte Torro. You could even visit Fornell's, a quaint little fishing village and indulge in a Calderetta de langosta (lobster stew) This used to be King Juan Carlos of Spain's favourite place and if you was lucky enough, he would buy everybody the lobster stew to try. There is so much to see and do and so easy to drive if you choose to hire a car.

I stayed in a beautiful little beach resort called Castellmarre Di Stabia, with the most amazing views of Mount Vesuvius. The train station was a 10 minute walk from our hotel and we were able to visit Sorrento and Pompeii. The ferry terminal, was only a 20 minute walk away and we hopped on a ferry to Capri for the day and then Positano and The Amalfi Coast the day after. Such stunning views and Italian culture, I will never forget the lovely Italian locals, the amazing food, the wine & spritzes, gelato and the shopping!! Those Italian Lemons were the biggest and juiciest I had ever seen in my life. Take me back.

Beautiful sunsets and cocktails, Sunset strip where you will find Café Mambo's and Café Del Mar. The worlds famous DJ's playing at iconic clubs and pool parties. But so much more than just that. Amazing Spanish culture too. Imagine tapas and sangria in quaint little villages, donned with lemon and orange groves and olives trees that are gnarled, torn and twisted as if tormented with time. Fabulous hippy markets, Ibiza town with its magnificent harbour and pirate ships. Lots of castles and local culture and an amazing shopping experience to boot. The beaches will also leave you speechless. There is something for everybody on this stunning white Isle.
