✨ Disneyland Paris

Visiting Disneyland Paris was like stepping into a storybook. From the moment we walked through the gates, there was a sense of magic in the air. My son was wide-eyed with excitement, racing from ride to ride and soaking in every character meet-and-greet. The highlight had to be the night time fireworks show, set against the backdrop of the Sleeping Beauty Castle—absolutely breath-taking. We laughed, we sang along to Disney tunes, and we made memories that will stay with us forever. It was a joyful, carefree part of the trip that brought out the child in all of us.

🗼 Paris with the Family

After Disneyland, we spent a few days soaking in the beauty of Paris. Seeing the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night was truly magical, but some of our favourite moments were the quieter ones—like enjoying fresh pastries in a little café and strolling along the Seine. We took in the art, the architecture, and the atmosphere at our own pace, savouring every shared meal and spontaneous moment. Paris has such a timeless charm, and it was wonderful to experience it all together as a family.

🏞️ On to Annecy

From Paris, we headed to the picture-perfect town of Annecy—and it was like stepping into another world. Nestled between mountains and a crystal-clear lake, Annecy immediately stole our hearts. We wandered through its pastel-coloured old town, crossed flower-lined bridges, and took leisurely walks along the Lac d’Annecy. The slower pace, fresh air, and natural beauty were the perfect contrast to the energy of Paris and Disneyland. It gave us time to unwind, reflect, and simply enjoy each other’s company in the most serene setting.

🌴Visiting Phuket was an unforgettable experience filled with stunning beaches, incredible wildlife encounters, and vibrant island life. One of my favourite spots was Kata Beach—its golden sand, turquoise waters, and laid-back vibe made it the perfect place to relax and soak in the tropical sun.

🐘A highlight of my trip was visiting an elephant sanctuary, where I had the chance to connect with these gentle giants in the most meaningful way. I helped bathe and feed the elephants, learning about their stories and how they were rescued. It was both humbling and heart-warming to be part of such an ethical and caring environment.

🏝️From there, I continued my adventure to the iconic Phi Phi Islands, where I stayed in a cosy beachfront bungalow—just steps away from the ocean. The nights came alive with a beach party under the stars, complete with music, dancing, and fire shows that lit up the shoreline.

🐒Another memorable moment was a boat trip to Monkey Island, where I got to see playful monkeys in their natural habitat. The mix of natural beauty, island hopping, and unique wildlife made this trip incredibly special.

Phuket truly offered a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and relaxation—and I can’t wait to go back.

🚂Traveling through Naples and Sorrento by train was an unforgettable experience, filled with rich culture, breath-taking scenery, and incredible food. Naples had this vibrant, raw energy that made every street feel alive. I loved wandering through the historic alleys, hearing the buzz of scooters zipping by, and seeing laundry swaying from balconies above. The city's deep history, especially at sites like the Naples Underground and the National Archaeological Museum, gave me a real sense of its ancient past.

🍕And then there was the food—pizza in Naples is a must, and having it in the birthplace of pizza somehow made it taste even better. Simple, fresh, and delicious.

🌄Sorrento, on the other hand, offered a more relaxed coastal charm. The views of the Bay of Naples from the cliffs were absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. I enjoyed strolling through the narrow streets filled with lemon-scented shops and artisan boutiques. The slower pace and friendly locals made it feel like a peaceful escape from the hustle of Naples.

🍋One of my favourite moments was taking in the panoramic views along the Amalfi Coast and sipping limoncello while watching the world go by. The blend of natural beauty, rich history, and warm hospitality made my time in Naples and Sorrento truly special.
