My absolute favourite destination has to be Greece. I haven't been to every Island yet, or many places on Mainland Greece, there are so many beautiful spots to explore, but the places I have been too, have absolutely blown me away every single time. Every Island has it's own uniqueness, but I would say the top 3 reasons that make Greece my favourite destination has to be the people, they are just so warm and welcoming and just make you smile. The next reason is the food, I just love the Greek food, from the olives, the Greek salads, the Gyros (my favourite), it is just beautiful and finally the crystal-clear waters and stunning landscapes again, just blow me away.

My very close 2nd favourite destination has to be Thailand. I visited Thailand for my 40th Birthday, with my husband and I was just stunned from the moment we landed. The reasons are very similar to why I love Greece. The people are just incredible, they are so genuinely friendly and welcoming and again just make you smile. Then there is the food, from the Pad Thai, the Thai Green curry, the Massaman Curry, Green Papaya Salad I could go on, every single meal was just so tasty. Then finally the palm-fringed beaches to tropical jungles and high misty mountains, just simply stunning. There are so many more reasons why I loved Thailand so much but they are my top 3 and we will be returning one day to explore more of the beautiful country. My 3rd favourite destination has to be Australia, I have explored Queensland and a little bit of New South Wales. There are so many reasons to love Australia, there is literally something for everyone. But my top reasons have to be, it is home to the Great Barrier Reef. I had so may incredible encounters with some beautiful marine life, snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters, a definite wow moment and a memory that will stay with me forever. I also love the laid back feel, even in the capital of Queensland, Brisbane, the days just felt slow and relaxed. Finally being a beach lover, during a 3 day sailing trip around the Whitsunday Islands, we stopped of at the most stunning beach I have ever seen, Whitehaven beach, with it's powdery white sand and crystal-clear water it really was my idea of Paradise. I can't wait to explore more of Australia one day.
