Hi, my name is Kevin - welcome to my Hays Travel page.

Let me start by telling you a little bit about myself and my travel experiences. I have always had a love for travel and a passion to explore the world. When I was 18, I went to New Zealand and Australia for 12 months with my best mate from college. On my return I worked in the package holiday industry in Europe as a holiday rep.

During my 20’s and 30’s I travelled extensively, either independently or as part of a group. I would work for a bit in the UK, save up some money and then head off travelling again, which included 36 countries in Africa and the Middle East, and a year living, working and travelling around Canada.

I met my wife through our mutual interest in Africa, and before our children were born we travelled around South America, which included visiting Machu Pichu and the phenomenal Galapagos Islands: I remember being blown away by the abundance of wildlife and realising the subtle differences in species between islands, and how this would have helped Charles Darwin formulate his theory of evolution.

Our family holidays over the last 15 years have included everything from camping in Wales during a storm, Disneyworld and Disneyland Paris, reading a book beside the pool at an all-inclusive holiday in Europe, cruising down the Nile in Egypt, seeing the breath-taking Rockies in Canada, to a self-drive holiday along the amazing Garden Route of South Africa (which included many safaris, and abseiling off Table Mountain with my then 4 and 8 year old daughters) – all the time making amazing memories that our family will cherish forever.
