Arriving at Kittila’s Snow Village; you’ll have plenty of time to visit the ice hotel with its igloo-like rooms, impressive carved ice sculptures, ice bar, and ice chapel. When you’re ready for snow-based fun; it’s a case of taking your pick from the huge choice of things to do. Why not hop aboard a sleigh and let Rudolf and his reindeer friends take you on a short ride through the snow-covered forest?

You can also enjoy on a short tour of the Lappish countryside aboard a husky-led sleigh; before you learn about how the husky dogs are trained and Santa's elves tell you an interesting tale about how the huskies saved Christmas. If you've got a driving licence, why not buckle up for the ride of your life with a snowmobile adventure through the winter wilderness? Then perhaps head indoors to the activity area to warm up with lunch in the restaurant.

But of course the real highlight of the day is your meeting with Santa Claus in his log cabin, set deep in the woods. Get your festive wish-list at the ready because now will be your chance to tell him what you want for Christmas. The elves will even help you impress him by teaching you how to say hello in Finnish. You'll get a real taste of tradition when you meet a Lapland local; you can poke around his tent and listen as he tells you age-old stories and legends about the region.

You can’t come to Lapland without playing in the snow. Start a friendly snowball fight, build a snowman, or learn how to drive a miniature skidoo. Afterwards, warm up by the campfire with hot berry juice. Just so you know, lunch and all the activities above are included in the price of your trip. That said, it's worth bringing extra Euros for any other food and drink you might want to buy. When your day comes to an end, Santa’s elves will take you to the airport for your flight home.
