• Day 3-4: Baton Rouge, Louisiana

With 13 nights on the road, you’ll get to the opportunity to explore some of the state’s most stunning and diverse landscapes, charming small towns, and bustling cities. Suggested itinerary (there are campsites in all areas – to be paid direct by customers):

• Day 5-6: St Francisville

  Take a tour of Rosedown State Historic Site and the Myrtles Plantation. Explore Afton Villa Gardens; created on the ruins of a gothic mansion. Go hiking and horseback riding at Tunica Hills Wildlife Management Area. Seek out West Feliciana Historical Society Museum, Audubon State Historic Site, and Locust Grove State Historic Site. Enjoy lunch at the charming Magnolia Café or dine at the haunted Myrtles Restaurant 1786.

• Day 7: Natchitoches

  Go shopping at Louisiana’s oldest general store – Kaffie-Frederick General Mercantile. Cruise around Natchitoches’ waterfront aboard the Cane River Queen. • Day 10: Alexandria

• Day 12: Lake Charles

• Day 13-14: New Orleans
