Today, you’ll leave New Orleans as you travel to Louisiana’s Capital city, Baton Rouge, where you will enjoy a city tour. You will then enjoy the exceptional scenery of the Trace Parkway on your way to Natchez, the oldest European settlement on the Mississippi River, and after a city tour, you will visit one of the homes of a millionaire plantation owner from the 19th Century. Overnight stay in Natchez.

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, leave Natchez behind to visit the river port city of Memphis, also known as the “Home of the blues”. On a city tour you'll visit the lively Beale Street, where music fills the streets and clubs at night, and stroll down Front Street, once known as Cotton Row, where cotton traders and merchants once conducted their business.  Overnight stay in Memphis.

Your journey continues to Nashville, the heart of country music, where WSM Barn Dance launched the Grand Ole Opry. Visit the iconic sites that cement its music legacy like the Ryman Auditorium and Opryland. Overnight stay in Nashville.

This morning enjoy a city tour to the cultural and state capital of Tennessee. Explore its landmarks and recording studios, where new country music classics are recorded every day. Overnight stay in Nashville. In the evening, your tour leader may offer you optional activities. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy one of the city's signature shows, or simply enjoy its vibrant night life.

Leave Music City behind on your way to Chattanooga, made famous by Glenn Miller’s song, you'll take a city tour to explore its nationally acclaimed downtown revival and riverfront renewal. In the afternoon, make your way back to Atlanta. Overnight stay in Atlanta.

Breakfast at the hotel*. It’s time to say goodbye to the South and self transfer to Atlanta’s airport to board your return flight home**, carrying with you the newly discovered rhythms of country, blues, and rock that define this musical heartland.
