Utah's Mighty Five & Beyond Itinerary

• Day 1-2 • Arrive in Las Vegas

  Upon arrival make your way to your hotel either by taxi and prepare for the glitz and glamour that Las Vegas has to offer! Take in the exhilarating atmosphere of the casino floors, enjoy the varying types of food and experience some of the best shows around. Shop 'til you drop at the outlet malls on the north and south end of the world-famous Las Vegas strip.

• Day 3-4 • Las Vegas to Zion RIver

  Collect your motorhome before hitting the open road as you embark on a journey through some of the most amazing landscapes you will ever experience. As you head for Zion National Park you will be greeted by massive canyon walls opening up into Zion River Resort, ideally located for easy access to the park and your base for two nights. Take the shuttle on the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive to experience some of the very best scenery.

• Day 5-6 • Zion River to Grand Canyon

  The highlight of the next few days will be the magnificent landscapes with the deep canyons, fantastic hikes and trails and unforgettable sunsets. Take in the jaw-dropping views from the rim of the canyon. Mather Campground is recommended for its peace, quiet and natural surroundings.

• Day 7-8 • Grand Canyon National Park to Lake Powell

  Head east through the Kaibab National Forest to Page and the fabulous Lake Powell, situated on the Colorado River. Take an excursion from Lake Powell Resort to Rainbow Bridge Monument to explore, before embarking on an Antelope Canyon tour to the most-visited and most- photographed slot canyon in the American Southwest. Wahweap campground is right on the lake and guests can enjoy the adjoining resort's pool and facilities with the purchase of the Resort Amenity Pass.

• Day 9 • Lake Powell to Monument Valley

  The red rock desert and monoliths of Monument Valley have been the setting for a multitude of western movies and are instantly recognisable. At Monument Valley, book the deluxe tour from Gouldings for the evening, covering the famous 17-mile loop of Monument Valley, some restricted back- country stops and famous monuments. This area of the Navajo Tribal Park boasts hidden treasures and provides great vantage points from the traditional 17-mile loop road.

• Day 10 • Monument Valley to Bluff

  You will need to be up early this morning as you head for Bluff to enjoy the San Juan River & Hummer Cliff Dwelling Expedition (not included and must be booked prior). In the morning you will float down the river and stop to learn about the Butler Wash petroglyph panel before enjoying a fresh gourmet lunch under the cottonwoods. After lunch you will take a Hummer and cruise up a 4x4 only road to see a two- story cliff dwelling called River House Ruin. Here, you will get up close and personal with a cliff dwelling reminiscent of Mesa Verde National Park.

• Day 11 • Bluff to Mesa Verde National Park

  Today you head towards Mesa Verde via the Four Corners monument, where the four states of Utah, Colorado, Arizona & New Mexico meet. Mesa Verde offers an insight into the lives of the Ancestral Pueblo people who made this their home for over 700 years. The park protects nearly 5,000 archaeological sites, including 600 cliff dwellings, the sites of which are some of the most notable and best preserved in the USA.

• Day 12-13 • Mesa Verde National Park to Moab

  Home for the next 2 days is Moab - an ideal base for visiting Canyonlands National Park. Take time to see Island in the Sky, a huge, flat-topped mesa with panoramic overlooks. Other notable areas include the towering rock pinnacles known as the Needles, the remote canyons of the Maze and the Native American rock paintings in Horseshoe Canyon. Take your time to explore Arches National Park which preserves over 2,000 natural sandstone arches, including the world-famous Delicate Arch (please be aware that Arches National Park requires a timed entry reservation which must be pre-booked). Moab is also an outdoor enthusiast's dream with half-day jet boat tours, white water rafting trips through the rapids and 4x4 off road tours just a few of the options.

• Day 14 • Moab to Capitol Reef National Park

  Today you move on to Capitol Reef National Park in Utah's south-central desert, where the defining geologic feature is a wrinkle in the earth known as the Waterpocket Fold. With its dramatic landscapes of rugged canyons, natural bridges and arches, the scene is set for a wonderful visit. Visit Gifford House & Museum close to your campground at Capitol Reef National Park before you depart for Bryce Canyon.

• Day 15 • Capitol Reef National Park to Bryce Canyon National Park

  The drive to Bryce Canyon National Park takes you on Utah's Scenic Byway 12, which is also known as "A Journey Through Time Scenic Byway". As you climb into the Dixie National Forest and leave Capitol Reef National Park behind, stop at the scenic overlook close to the 9,000 feet summit and take in the view. A short hike takes you to Sunrise and Sunset Points and be sure to look out for views of Bryce Amphitheatre.

• Day 16 • Bryce Canyon National Park to Mesquite

  Spend more time in Bryce Canyon National Park before making an overnight stop in Mesquite on your way to Las Vegas. Our suggested motorhome resort is located on the Arizona side of the Arizona/Nevada state line, however, there are several hotel and casinos on the banks of the Virgin River located just a few miles away on the Nevada side of the border. En route to Mesquite, visit the St. George area, a historical gold mine full of pioneer homes, fascinating ghost towns, and prehistoric dinosaur footprints.

• Day 17 • Mesquite to Las Vegas

  Upon arrival back into Las Vegas, return your motorhome before spending one final night prior to your return flight. A last opportunity to see a show, enjoy a journey on the High Roller at the Linq or a cocktail in the lounge on the 23rd floor of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel for stunning views of the Las Vegas Valley.

• Day 18 • Homeward Bound

  Your vacation is coming to an end and it is time to return to the airport for your homebound flight.
