The Journey:

• Day 1-3: Key West, Florida Keys

  Fly into Key West where your ten-night self-drive adventure gets underway with a three-night stay at Havana Cabana at Key West in a 2 Queen Beds Room on a room-only basis. Key West leads to Duval Street’s unique art galleries and boutiques, Key West Historic Seaport’s fresh seafood, and Mallory Square’s nightly sunset celebration. Witness the sunset at the USA’s southernmost point at Southern Point Buoy or wander through Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory’s free-flying butterflies and exotic birds. Sunbathe, jet-ski, and kayak at Smathers Beach, climb the 88 steps to the top of Key West Lighthouse, and see where the famous author lived at Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum.

• Day 4-6: Duck Key, Florida Keys

  Get behind the wheel for a drive to the small, serene island of Duck Key for three nights’ room-only in a Resort King at Hawks Cay Resort. This place is paradise found with its five swimming pools, spa, five eateries, and four bars. Set out on a fishing charter, snorkel in turquoise waters, and toast the day on a sunset cruise from Hawks Cay Marina. Hit the pause button on Key Colony Beach and keep your eyes peeled for turtles at Cocoa Plum Beach. Touch and feed the dolphins at Hawk Cay’s Dolphin Connection, explore nature at Curry Hammock State Park, and visit the famous Seven Mile Bridge.

• Day 7-10: Islamorada, Florida Keys

  The finale see a journey to Islamorada for a four-night room-only stay at Three Waters Resort and Marina in a King Room. Islamorada lets you interact with Theatre of the Sea’s parrots and dolphins and delve into native American life and shipwrecks at Key History and Discovery Center. Walk through the mangroves in search of Anne’s Beach, snorkel and dive at Alligator Reef Light House, and visit the History of Diving Museum. Taste craft beers on a tour of Florida Keys Brewing Company, feast on fresh seafood at Robbie’s Marina, and hand-feed giant tarpon at Bud ‘n’ Mary’s Marina.

• Day 11: Key West - UK

  Check out of your hotel and travel to Key West International Airport in time for your overnight flight back to London Heathrow – hopefully with many happy memories to look back on of your Sunsets and The Florida Keys self-drive adventure.
